The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of Malaga. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing spanish culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.
Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Spanish; other languages upon request.

4.00We found the guide super pleasant and child friendly! He knew a lot about Spanish cuisine from all regions. The food was great! Just a pity that there was no piece of culture / history, that would have completed it and earned five stars.

5.00It was an absolutely amazing experience to sample food in 4 locations in Malaga. Our tour guide on 14/10/2025, Jose, had an incredible depth of knowledge, offering clear information and catering well for food intolerances. We tried 15 types of tapas with 3 drinks, all of which were exquisite. We were lucky to be paired with a lovely group of Northern ladies, who made it fun. An exceptional tour and highlight of our trip.

5.00The tour started at the Malaga market which is well worth the visit. While there we sampled some local delights. From the market we we were treated to tapas at a few tapas restaurants as well as seeing some of the sights. This is a walking tour but it was very easy and with the stops at different spots it wasn’t too strenuous. I really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it.

5.00A great tapas tour with Jose Luis around the central district in Malaga. We visited some great eateries including g El Pimpi which was on our must eat there itinerary. Make sure you are hungry as this tour offers a huge amount of food! We had a really lovely group. Only 7 of us in total which allowed us to share a wide variety of dishes and tase some local wines. We do a food tour in most cities when we visit and this is one of the best we have been on.

She made sure we tried things that were unique to Malaga and gave us helpful suggestions based on our interests for the rest of our trip. This was our first food tour and we will now seek them out in the future!
