Albert Hall
Hello, traveller! Here comes your journey in Manchester, paved with many secrets and mysteries! Get ready for your first destination: the Albert Hall. Initially built with religious purposes, Albert Hall decided that it likes to have fun, so the grand and ornate chapel has been restored into a stunning music hall. While you are on the dancefloor and enjoying one of the most atmospheric music events in the UK, keep an eye out for a mysterious question that may pop up!
Manchester Town Hall
If you pass near a stunning, imposing building from the heart of the city on your way, then most likely you are at Manchester Town Hall. This Victorian, Neo- Gothic building designed by architect Alfred Waterhouse in 1877, houses ceremonial events with a grandeur specific only to Manchester. Here you will come across the Manchester Murals, illustrating the history of the city in an artistic manner and you will have the chance to get acquainted with influential figures including Dalton, Joule and Barbirolli (in the form of magnificent statues, of course). Investigate further the place and solve the mystery challenge so you can advance.

Was unable to download and as this wasn't a refundable I can't explain any more than this sorry dot dot dot just to write the minum number which is a bit ridiculous really but otherwise I think it was a technical issue which could be my phone so I'll accept that can't review though something I haven't tried but I wish you all well. Also can you take off the minus words as it's a little bit aggressive that if we don't write enough words when some like myself struggle to write. I know that's not the intention

If you don’t have much time for a city tour like we do, an outdoor escape game like this is just the thing! We were guided to various places of the city for about 2h and learned a lot about the scary history of the city. It was fun!

This game shows you around the inner city of Manchester via a spooky investigation. I recommend to do it in the evening, the experience is quite authentic.

Pretty good. The part by the NCP cark park the instructions need updating or the answer changing. Overall I'd recommend if you have 90 minutes to kill and want a walk with a bit of difference.

Biggest problem was the failure of the map and directions to each stop. Consistently failed to tell you when your stop had been reached.Had to stop using the map and simply found our own way. Lucky I know the city well. The building at the end of Marron St no longer exists. Two quizzes had wrong answers eg at Portico library. A back story about the Manchester Pusher was used to link many ghostly locations. But The Pusher had no link with most of those, only the canal ones. It needed a better narrative. This one didn’t work. The challenges need more variety and more thought. I honestly cannot recommend this app game.

Poor (and incorrect around the Portico Library) directions, made worse with the roadworks and building works in Manchester. Would work better at night when dark and could have made the script more scary.

We managed to complete it after getting lost numerous times, we did find it quite interesting. Building work meant we couldn’t see one of the clues, but no fault of the game. Two issues though . I paid for 7 but it only let 5 of us on the game. It then asked if we’d take a photo for the game. One of us did but then the game ended early for him.
