Off-road adventure with Top of The Line, Single, Double ATV’s. Our all-terrain vehicles are safe and easy to drive, great for riders of all ages* *(18 years Old – Minimum Driving Age) Younger Drivers (16 and up) could drive an ATV only if:
Parent or Guardian Agrees to assume Liability in Case of Any Damage or Accident and show a Valid Driver's License that allows the minor to drive the type of ATV that is to drive.
Experience the adrenaline of driving on ATV’s as you are led by our Expert & Bilingual Guide to a Private Natural Reserve. There you will take a light hike into the rainforest up to a refreshing natural river pool where you will be welcome to swim in.
We offer Fresh & Local Fruits and a Water Bottle to quench your thirst. After this, we undo our way to head back for a 100% Costa Rican Traditional Meal.
Lockers available to leave items that you won’t bring on the tour and Towels for you to dry if you wish to rinse off at the end of the tour.

What To Expect
Manuel Antonio
We will kick off the day after a short drive from your hotel, with a morning meet and greet at the North area of Manuel Antonio in our headquarters to have a brief overview of the trip itinerary, vehicle operation and to answer any questions you may have. As soon as we finish with the instructions and safety directions we’ll kick off the day driving from San Antonio de Damas into an area of natural waterfalls and springs located in a magnificent rainforest, we will pass through some of the typical yet fascinating plantations in the region, rice, African palm, teakwood, and papayas; winding switchbacks and muddy streams of African palm orchard, part of a 135,000-acre farm that grows this palm fruit for the production of oil. We will go on a 15-mile journey will take you through the dirt streets of the resident villages of La Parcela and San Rafael. Our guide will share interesting information along the travel concerning local tourism development, sustainability, and the local aspects that define our culture. As we hit half of the trip, we’ll leave ATVs on the trail for a brief hike through the primary rainforest, if we get lucky some we might see toucans, sloths. squirrel monkeys and several tropical bird species. And of course the superb rainforest landscapes. We will stop by a fantastic waterfall, where you can swim in refreshing, crystalline waters. Afterward, you will hike back to your ATV and return across the palm fruit plantations, to the adventure center where. A traditional Costa Rican meal will be waiting for you. You will have time to relax after the adrenaline of your ATV activity and finally jump in a shuttle for a transfer back to your hotel in Manuel Antonio

5.00Carlos was a great tour leader keeping everyone together. And safe. We enjoyed the stop at the falls and my spouse swam under the waterfall. Due to a change in our departure time, he ensured we would be back in time and we were. Lunch was hot and delicious. Communication prior to our excursion was excellent and timely.

5.00Easy and fun! Splashing in the river was a highlight for most, but I just thought it was extremely cool to ride thru the Palm Tree groves, especially while they were harvesting. Wall to waterfall was easy and picturesque. You can jump in the pool at the base, but it isn’t as warm as the ocean. :). Carlos was a great guide!

5.00This was awesome. Everyone in our group throughly enjoyed it. The hike to the waterfall was a bit steep but this 65 year old grandma was able to do it with no problem.

1.00Literally didn’t show up and didn’t communicate at all. Booked one day before and messaged them an hour before the pickup time, waited for them to show up and nothing, contacted support and even they couldn’t get a hold of them

5.00The guides were very accommodating and nice. We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the tour. It was beautiful and recommend taking clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting wet/ dirty.

5.00This was our son's (17) favorite activity on the trip! Super fun - and prepare to get dirty! The easy waterfall hike was a bonus. The tour goes through palms with some fun and mud on the way. Cautious drivers should probably be a passenger. :)

4.00It was cheesy fun! Having owned quads for many years, it was a little on the slow side. But the rivers were a blast! Wet & dirty. They finally let us shift half way through (once we told them we knew how). We didn't get the fruit snack, which would've been nice, it was a fairly long ride. They should teach riders about using the rear brake (foot) and not just the front brake (hand). Unfortunately at the very end of our ride, a mom/daughter riding double crashed in front of us going downhill, mostly because they used the front brake, slid out the front, let go and went over. The daughter was injured pretty bad (arm/shoulder probably broken), which likely would have been avoided if they knew to use the rear brake. It was a bummer to an otherwise fun day. Lunch was good. Plan extra time, they were 30 minutes late picking us up and started even later once we arrived. We had to change our xmas eve dinner reservations because it took longer than anticipated. Overall would recommend.

Within about 1 minute of the ride it became apparent that i have no business of ever being on an ATV so the guides split the group up where more experienced riders could get the full benefit of the ATV off roading and we went on a beautiful (and calm) ride through the plantations and passing local villages to get to the waterfall. It was absolutely wonderful!

5.00My family of 4 adults had a blast on the ATV tour with Fourtrax Adventure Tours. Our guide, Gabriel, made sure we felt comfortable driving the ATVs before we ventured out into the palm plantation. He was quite knowledgeable about the making of palm oil which he shared during our drive to the plantation. Halfway through our ride, we stopped and had a fruit snack and then hiked to a waterfall. We were able to cool off in the waterfall pool before heading back to the farm, where we enjoyed a Costa Rican lunch of rice, chicken, beans and plantains. Very enjoyable day for those who like to get muddy!
