What To Expect
Manuel Antonio National Park
This breathtaking place is known for its white beaches and turquoise water such as Manuel Antonio and Espadilla, hier you can enjoy a wide variety of activities like swimming or hiking. The park is also home of many of Costa Rica’s unique species, including Monkeys, Sloths, Toucans, Reptiles and more, but will be even better appreciated after a guided walk through the tropical rain forest with your naturalist tour guide.

5.00Roberto is a very knowledgeable & personable guide. He was very flexible to help us with a ride for the tour. We say a lot of wildlife and learned a lot. There are many rules to get into the park and he made it very easy to get quickly in.
Hire a guide for the park!! So worth it !!

5.00We took this tour with a guide named Robert and we are so glad we did! We would have missed tons of.creatures that you cant see with the naked eye. We saw a lot of beautiful animals! That beach through….. pure beauty!!! Park is very clean! I would definitely recommend!!

5.00Robert was very knowledgeable and strangely able to see things no one else seemed to be a ware of. Very good communicator. He's the epitome of a small CR businessman building a strong tourism business. I strongly recommend this tour. There is parking at his office. Support small business!

5.00Robert is an absolutely incredible guide! He spotted so much that we would have completely missed otherwise. Manuel Antonio gets very busy and crowded, but Robert was able to show us so much, and also took photos for us through his scope! We are so grateful he had his scope, as it’s really the only ethical way to see the fauna in the area. Even once our tour had finished, as we were walking back from the beach we saw more animals and birds and he continued letting us use his scope and explain to us what we were seeing! We were thrilled with the tour and highly recommend!

5.00Robert and his staff are amazing. The tour was incredible and Robert's knowledge and passion beyond belief. His location is great because you can literally park next to the park. The other reason Robert and his staff are amazing is the customer service. Our accommodations in Quepos got cancelled (SCAM). It's New Years Eve! We messaged Robert to explain that we may not be able to do he tour the next day due to potentially spending the night in our car. He literally came to the restaurant we were at! He used his resources to help us find a hotel. Truly incredible. After the tour the next day, we still didn't have a place to stay on January 1. Again, Robert and his staff came through, found us an incredible location. If this isn't above and beyond I don't know what is. You will not be disappointed booking with Robert at travelandbirding.com. Thank you Robert!

5.00To preserve nature, no plastic (disposable type) water bottles are allowed in the park. Also, my granola bars could not go in, probably because of the wrapper. This being said, there was no trash scattered about.
