Manuel Antonio National Park
Your day begins at the park entrance, or with optional pickup at selected locations. After you purchase Manuel Antonio National Park entrance tickets (at your own expense), you’ll continue into the nature reserve with a naturalist guide. Exploring this wildlife hotspot with a naturalist makes the most of every minute, as their trained eyes quickly spot animals such as monkeys, sloths, toucans, and more. And, this tour’s small-group format means more personalized attention from the guide. You can also use the group’s spotting scope to observe wildlife and take photos. A flexible itinerary, meanwhile, is tailored to guest preferences, whether you’re all about the jungle or interested in a beach walk. In between stops enjoy provided snacks, as well as the climate-controlled comfort of a tour vehicle for pickup and drop off. While this walking nature tour concludes at the park entrance, you’ll also have the option to stay inside the park. The tour guides have a Jade Tours uniform

I had a fantastic experience touring Manuel Antonio National Park with Joseth. His deep knowledge of the wildlife, plants, and local ecosystem made the entire tour incredibly enriching. He has a great eye for spotting animals that most people would easily miss, and he explains everything in a clear and engaging way. On top of that, his joyful and friendly personality made the tour even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend booking a tour with him if you want to truly appreciate the beauty of the park.

We loved this tour! We were so impressed with Javier’s ability to spot so many different animals and his extensive knowledge. His love, and respect, of the natural world helped us to learn so much about everything we saw. Viewing the animals close up through his scope was incredible and being able to immediately take away the photos and videos of our tour was a special touch. There’s even a chance to have a dip in the ocean on Manuel Antonio beach. Do this tour! Incredible value for money and precious memories made.

Manuel Antonio NP is a very accessible and beautiful destination, offering environments from beaches to jungle. Our guide, Elliot, was excellent, with running commentary about flora and fauna. His skill at spotting creatures both large and small was impressive. His rapport with follow guides met along the way was a reflection of his friendly and respectful nature. We followed up this tour with another day at the park on our own, allowing us to explore new trails as well as revisit certain areas from our tour. That proved to be a perfect way to more fully appreciate this great park.

We went with Guillermo as a guide and I'd definitely recommend it. He was really fun, happy, friendly and knowledgable. The way he spotted really well hidden wildlife with his bare eyes was always impressive to me. We saw several sloths, white faced monkeys, bats, and many many other animals. I'm really glad I decided to go on this tour! He also sent us all the photos he took with his camera. If you forgot to bring a reusable water bottle, like me, you can buy one in front of the park. Also note that insect repellent spray (aerosol!) Is not allowed inside the park, there is no mosquitos inside though.

Elias took us on a wonderful tour through the park! It feels like you are in the jungle with all of the wildlife, yet the crowds and paved path made it feel more like a theme park. For this reason, I would say a private tour might be better if you want a more personalized experience and to be able to ask questions. For the price, it was well worth it for all the animals we saw in their natural habitats. We could not believe Elias’ abilities to spot some of these animals, which were so well camouflaged in the foliage and under broken branches; he is truly a master guide and very knowledgeable. I could stay in the park all day taking in the views of the flora, fauna and the beach; however, I am allergic to mosquitoes and was getting eaten alive. Cover up and wear repellant if you are attractive to the sancudos!

We had a guided tour with Elliott & he was excellent. He went at a relaxed pace & was able to spot & talk about so many species of wildlife in the park. He made the whole afternoon so enjoyable & informative. He also shared the pictures that he took through his scope…the best of which was a monkey with a tiny baby on its back. The highlight of the tour! Going with a guide like Elliott is as must & you would only see a fraction of things if you went on your own. Thank you for a memorable day.

Great experience with Jade Tours and our guide Elliot! He was really knowledgable and made the experience in Manuel Antonio so much better than of we had gone by ourselves. He was really good at spotting the animals and helped is get a good view. I really appreciated the small size of the group (7 persons) so everyone had a good chance to hear and see. Really friendly and a good guide! Would absolutely recommend :) He took great pictures with his binoculars that he shared to my phone (much appreciated since he had a much better camera than my old phone).
