Te Au Moana Luau
Te Au Moana, translated as the ocean tide, has always been a constant throughout Oceania, connecting our islands, peoples and generations. Our Polynesian ancestors traversed these oceans tides for ages and revered them for their life sustaining properties. Their stories, which spoke of their expert skills in fishing, gathering and voyaging demonstrated the tremendous depths of knowledge and respect they had to the Earth and its elements. As Hawaii’s premier entertainment company, Tihati Productions endeavors to bring these stories to life at “Te Au Moana: The Ocean Tide”. We invite you to dine as the ocean sits peacefully before you, as it has for thousands of years. We ask you to dance under the Maui skies; the moon and stars await you and we hope that you discover all the fascinating stories at “Te Au Moana: The Ocean Tide” a spectacular lu’au experience like no other!

Fun show, great food and excellent service. The setting was beautiful. Only complaint is finding the luau without stopping by the front desk if you’re not staying at the Marriott. Signs would be helpful.

Amazing food, show and vibes. Truly a great journey through the Polynesians culture. I learned so much about the triangle islands. It was worth the money. You get good food, open bar and a great 3 hour show. So worth it!

I would not recommend booking premium seating unless you are guaranteed a front row table, and even that was not worth more than $110pp over the standard price given that the view was pretty good wherever you sat. The way it was set up, the premium seating tables ($325pp) are the 6 tables in the front, 4 tables in the center 2nd row, and 4 tables in the center 3rd row, which we were at. The standard tables ($215pp) in the 2nd row had better vantage view point than we did, and the standard 3rd row next to us had very similar view. Service was good, but food was pretty mediocre. Open bar was nice. Dancers were good, but I’ve seen more elaborate productions in Hawaii for less cost. Good luau but definitely not worth the premium price

Fabulous luau on Marriott Wailea campus. Beautiful setting, very nice cohesive show, and great good, which is hard to do for large groups. Great value as well.

Awesome experience! Our family really enjoyed it! We've been to about 3 different luau in previous visits to Maui and this was by far the best one. They were entertaining, kept the crowd engaged, beautiful dancers and the fire show was the best we've seen.

This luau was packed with tradition, informative history, and fun. Others we have attended the food was so so. Here the food was really good as well as many drink options including drinks that were not the traditional “sweet “ kind. Beautiful setting, enjoyable meal with outstanding and informative entertainment! Be sure to make this luau a priority of your vacation, well worth it!
