Please know traffic is heavy and parking is limited after 12pm on Fridays, weekends and holidays. If you are driving into South Beach please allot additional 45 minutes to enter South Beach and locate parking as some garages may be full and you will need to drive around to locate street parking. ALSO please check traffic advisory on Internet for any traffic delays.

Tour continues in rain or shine (except for Hurricanes Watches or Warnings). In the event of rain, we keep you indoors most of the time. Be sure to carry an umbrella or rain poncho to walk in between buildings. Statistically, rain showers do not last more than 20 minutes.

Option 1 – Balanced & engaging I really enjoyed the tour with Janinha. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s Art Deco history and is also actively involved in preservation efforts, which added great depth to the experience. The tour was engaging, informative, and definitely worthwhile. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in architecture and local history.

An excellent way to explore the district and find out more about the history of the area. Particularly enjoyed being taken into the buildings and having things pointed out that you would not otherwise know about or notice. Our guide was friendly, informative and interesting. Great way to do a guided tour if, like me, you are not a fan of group tours.

Great tour with Janinha as guide. Very informative about art deco as well as more general information about the history of Miami. We were able to see a number of buildings in the classic art deco style and interior examples of furniture, lighting, flooring etc. Janinha engaged with all of the small group and we bonded very nicely.

James (Cubby?) was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and kept the tour very interesting. He incorporates humor but also taught us a lot to help enable us to identify art deco architecture on our own! I loved this tour!
