We didn’t see any animals. Saw the quetzal for a few seconds, but it flew away before the guide could set up the scope. I don’t know how often people actually see animals here..

Dennis is such a knowledgeable and personable guide!! I was so lucky to be referred to him by a friend and could not recommend him more!! He is conscientious of everyone’s abilities and objectives and is truly passionate about the wildlife of Costa Rica.

Great communication from Roy before the tour starts. The tour itself way very informative, learning about the flora and fauna and the history of Monteverde. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable in the different types of trees and ecosystems that inhabit the trees and forest, and he was able to answer all of our questions. It was very relaxing walking through the cloud forest, and we enjoyed spotting some birds. We found the tour interesting and would recommend if you want to learn about flora and fauna in the cloud forest.

Roy was a fantastic guide! He was super knowledgeable and went out of his way to try and make sure we saw the wildlife whilst respecting the wildlife and surrounding areas. He knew lots about the wildlife, forest and local area. We saw plenty and learnt lots. The trail was easy with a beautiful waterfall view point. Would recommend this tour!

Not worth it. Guide was nice but not worth it. Saw 1 spider and 1 bird. In my opinion not even worth the entrance fee to go on a walk. Use your $ for other fun things, this was boring.

Fernando did a wonderful job showing us the delights of the Monteverde reserve. No Quetzel unfortunatley, but we did see a tarantula!

Sadly didn't see as many animals as we'd hoped, but that's not really the guide's fault. He was very knowledgeable and personable, and was able to tell us about the the flora and fauna of the place and history of conservation in Costa Rica.

Rory was a wonderful tour guide, and we saw many rare birds thanks to his expertise. He was very patient with my less-fit stepfather as well.

We thought this tour was to see the Cloud Forest, but it does NOT included the bridge over the Forest. There is a lot of rules in this place to be able to protect the animals, wich is nice, but this was not what we touché the tours was. The guide was passionate and explained a lot of thing and tried his Best to let us see animals but there was not a lot to see. If you want to know everything about the history of the park and some information about plants, it is a good tour! The guide tôle us that you need to pay for each trail you want to walk and you cannot really do it without the guide because there is no day pass to buy…. It is written that you can choose your path, but we could NOT choose and could not see ehat we came for…
