Our guide, Fernando, had exceptional knowledge of the natural world around us and an ability to smoothly and easily communicate that information to our group. He was able to answer in depth and with enthusiasm any question we asked. He, along with guides of other groups on the trail, located three quetzals, one female and two males, within the first fifteen minutes hiking. We could hardly believe it! If there were guiding medals Fernando would certainly get one.

Roy was incredible - he knew so much about the forest and took the time to show us every animal and explain all the flora and fauna. The trail was only an hour long or so, but we were with him for almost 3 hours - amazing! Also took loads of pictures for us through his telescope

Excellent experience trekking through the cloud forest with our expert guide Dennis Fernandez. Dennis' knowledge is impressive and he clearly loves the forest and helping others learn about it. With his guidance and some luck we saw a nesting pair of Resplendent Queztals which surely is the Holy Grail for birders at the cloud forest.

Best guide around with Deyber as we was both resourceful and talented. He gave us a history and climate lesson along with identifying every creature along the way. This is Roy's brother and he should be proud of him.

This was excellent. Roy was really knowledgeable about all the wildlife fauna and flora but completely respected the environment which is great. Small group and easy trail. Even saw a resplendent quetzal ( or two😂). Would really recommend Roy’s tours.

Worth seeing and also worth the money, but not spectacular for us personally. We have seen relatively few animals, but for people who are very interested in plants and birds definitely a recommendation.

Roy was super friendly, very informative and just a nice guy to be around. Even if we didn’t see too many animals, what he taught us about the ecosystem was worth every penny.

Juan Carlos was an incredible guide, and very informative about both the flora and the fauna in the area! He was able to spot so many animals from a distance and we could see them through his scope, we would have missed everything without him! The Cloud Forest is an incredible place, highly recommend!
