The Original Canopy Tour offers Canopy Tour, Rappel, climbing a Hollow tree, Tarzan Swing, and an exhilarating opportunity to soar through the treetops high above the forest floor on the adventure of a lifetime. Here you will view the jungle life from a perspective previously reserved for a selected group of researchers and photographers. Everything was designed for your fun but always preserving the forest.

What To Expect
Your tour begins in the primary, old growth forest and moves you to the recent growth of the secondary forest, offering a unique view of cloud forest in its various life stages. As you fly by, listen closely for the variety of birds that can be seen and heard throughout our private preserve. Become one with the canopy as you get your blood pumping with a 150 ft drop down to the forest floor by rappel. And just when you think the adventure has ended, you will experience a unique ladder system leads you back up through the hollow of an enormous tree, returning you once again to the excitement of this wondrous forest.

5.00This was exhilarating and just enough physically challenging. Would have been nice to have such a great crew, but I can’t shout them out because they didn’t have name tags. The instructions were a bit hard to understand due to the language accent. Once the guide said, “This will be a great experiment.“ I thought he was joking, but he was actually saying this will be a “great experience,” and it was!

5.00Elian and Bryan were our tour guides and were absolutely amazing! They were so much fun and made sure we had a great time. They also made me feel very safe! However, if your taking a shuttle pay attention to your messages on trip advisor. The time said pick up at 730 and they sent me a message the night before saying pick up at 7 which I didnt see and the shuttle left us! Luckily we had a car. So the time you are given when you register seems to not be accurate. I recommend this needs to be fixed on the admin side because it causes confusion. Other then that we had a great experience and would do it again!

5.00Had an amazing time, the tour was super fun! We got to do so many things than just zip lining (although that was the best part) ! Our guides Keiver Joseph, fray and Elian were absolutely fantastic always making sure safety was their number 1 concern! Got to take some amazing videos and photos (only when it was safe!) would definitely 100% recommend coming back!

5.00Incredible experience! My 7 year old was very capable - but that would likely be the youngest I would let a kid on the zip lines alone. Every kiddo is different though! Such a special place! Guides were excellent!

5.00An all around great experience. Shuttle service picked us up from our hotel and brought us back after the tour. You can leave personal belongings in an small locker at the reception. The tour itself with our guides Brayan and Daniel was a blast! We felt safe and they explained each step thoroughly, very professional an friendly. Went through several zip lines, up to 800m long, rappeled down a rope, climbed up a ficus, swung on a Tarzan-Style rope. It was a true highlight of our stay in Costa Rica. Pura Vida!
