You’ll be driven up Mount Batur in a 4x4 jeep to witness the sunrise from a viewpoint without the strenuous trek. Enjoy breathtaking views of the sunrise over the caldera, Lake Batur, and surrounding mountains

5.00Great experience! It was fun to split this day up between the fun and different opportunities to try different things! Taking the jeep up half way helped to save our energy to continue to the summit by hiking! It was a bit difficult due to the soft ground with sand and rocks so be careful as you can slip easily going up but especially coming down! Wear good shoes or hiking boots! The guides will give you a headlamp and a walking stick. When you reach the summit or any level you choose to stop at you will see the most incredible sunrise!! Going to the hot springs was a welcomed event after our long hike! We then decided to do an awesome cafe with the mount batur view instead of the coffee plantation as we had already been to one in Ubud. You can always ask the driver if you want to customize your day!
