What To Expect
Learn about the traditional cuisine of Naxos, Greek food, or satisfy you passion for cooking with a traditional cooking course at a rural village. All dishes are made from local and fresh ingredients and with pure organic products. Learn all the secrets of herbs and aromatic plants. At the end, the cooking lesson turns into a feast as you enjoy the dishes you have prepared, along with local wine and traditional music. The lessons will take place in small or large groups, in couples and families, upon agreement, at the times and days you choose. If you choose to, walk along the river and get to know some of the beauties of the village. Make the most of more than a simple cooking lesson, but a rich experience, as you cut vegetables and fruits from the garden or even make cheese together with the villagers!

5.00It's about 20 minutes from Naxos Chora via cab and well worth the trip. Was a lovely day in the countryside seeing how a local farm works and doing some Greek cooking while enjoying the company of other guests

5.00We had a wonderful time walking through the gardens picking vegetables and learning about how the family farms the land; preparing 3 different dishes while we sipped the family wine; taking a hike while everything cooked and then enjoyed the company of everyone at the table while we ate what we prepared plus so much more; and then we danced! What a wonderful afternoon and evening on a traditional Greek farm! Grace was the star of the show for sure.

5.00What a wonderful time to share Jack’s family farm in experience, food and drink. From Grace, the family pet, and Jack’s nephew, who is five months, his sister Hannah and their Mother, everyone welcomed us and made sure we had a good time. Learning the history of the farm, fifth generation, to the history of Greece, many enemies, we began to feel the love and inclusiveness of the land. Everything was local sourced. We ended the night with a dance which I truly enjoyed as I smashed a plate on the stone. I highly suggest you take this excursion. You will have a wonderful experience.

5.00Most amazing cooking class I have ever taken! My trip would not have been the same without taking the class! Anna was the star, and such an amazing guide for our group! The food is excellent, and I was able to meet lots of people through this tour itself. There was so much beautiful history I was able to learn about her family, agriculture, and Greece alone!

5.00What a charming, friendly and knowledgeable family who run this experience. Jack, the brother, ran our group of 16 and we toured their garden and saw some animals, picked vegetables that would be part of our dinner. He gave us a brief yet fascinating history lesson on some of the buildings on their property. Then we returned to begin the prep for our meal. The food by the way was absolutely delicious, and an abundance of it. At the end of the evening (which included wine, Kitron and a shot of raki) we celebrated with Greek dancing and plate smashing. Highly highly recommend this experience! Definitely a highlight of our vacation.
