What To Expect
Our Tour guide will meet you at Kusadasi Port or the lobby of Listed hotels with your name sign at pre-arranged time . Pick up time will be given during your confirmation. Kusadasi Cruise Terminal pick up time normally 30 to 45 minutes after your cruise arrival
Meryemana (The Virgin Mary's House)
Our first stop is the House of Virgin Mary. The House of Virgin Mary is located on the Aladag Mountains 5 miles away from Ephesus. At the third Ecumenical Council on 431 AD in Ephesus, it was claimed that Mary came to Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her death in 48 A.D. After the discovery of the house, the Archbishop of Izmir declared there as a place of pilgrimage in 1892. On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul VI visited this place and prayed there

5.00The group had so much fun and learned a lot. Our (Tasi) guide was able to get us to the sites before the crowds, and he was so knowledgeable about the area. He is a local, so he knew the ins and outs. Explain everything to us. The place he tooks us to eat was amazing. Highly recommend to do this private tour. You will definitely enjoy every minute of it. You will have enough time to see everything.

4.00Me and my wife really enjoyed the tour. They did a very good job getting us to the sites in and out.. we felt like our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us some great history on the stuff we were doing. The pick up at the port was excellent. Easy to find our name somebody took us right to him.. the only reason we are giving us a four is because the carpet place was not on our agenda and it was not of any interest us. I think he did tell my wife we were going to do this, but I absolutely had no interest in doing it. I also felt like the carpet guy was extremely pushy, but my tour guide was quick to say no he wasn’t pushy I was there. I can honestly say we did not appreciate that opinion. And he was pushy. And the only reason that it appears they took us there was some sort of benefit to the tour guides. We had made it very clear when we got there, we were not gonna be buying anything and I had no interest in their drinks, orphan. We also felt like he was rushing a little bit to get done with the tour.

5.00I highly recommend this tour! It was perfect. Our guide was Cenk and he was absolutely wonderful! We started at the The house of Mary, then to Ephesus where he gave detailed explanations about architecture and history, and then onto the tower of Artemis. We stopped along the way before the tower at a little restaurant where we got some snacks and tried traditional Greek food. There were a total of 3 couples, so it really was an immersive tour. Great value for the money. Glad we chose to do this tour versus one through our cruise ship which cost almost 3 times as much.
