We had an amazing experience with Chie. Not only did we cook delicious dishes, which we will try at home, but Chie provided a great history lesson on Japan and answered all of our questions about this intriguing country. Shopping with Chie for the ingredients needed for our meal was a great addition to the experience, we learned so much about Japanese products and origins. Thank you for a wonderful evening and experience.

I arrived early at the meeting spot and she was there with waiting for me. Together we went grocery shopping and it was nice to experience shopping in Japan - everyone’s bags their own purchases unlike in America. The ingredients were very fresh. We then went to the cooking school and got to work. It was a small clean space to cook. She played music as we cooked. We made octopus balls, chicken, cabbage salad and tuna, avocado and tomato salad. Everything was delicious. Even sampled a few sake. I really enjoyed Nina’s easy going personality and enjoyed singing along to our favorite 80s songs!

Amazing experience! From start to finish we had a great time. Very welcoming and not your typical cooking class. We started out grocery shopping and then enjoyed cooking with all the ingredients. Highly recommend !
