Great tour! Amazing food and super knowledgeable guide. Probably the best food I've ever head. I've been to Japan many times and Yota is so great.

There's no better way to experience a new culture than through its cuisine, and we left Osaka full of facts and flavours thanks to Bel and Camilla's fantastic local knowledge. Over three hours, we navigated Shinsekai's lively neon-lit streets, sizzling stands, and back-alley izakayas, sampling delicious, unique and thoughtfully selected bites. Every stop offered a new culinary surprise and insights into Japanese food culture, including Osaka's specialities. Each dish was different from the next, with generous portions, opportunities to test yourself with flavours not for the faint-hearted, and the history, significance and etiquette carefully explained by our guides. We were the only people on the tour and really enjoyed Bel and Camilla's excellent company and good humour - the time went by in a flash! Go with a big appetite and prepare to learn (and eat) plenty!

Great food tour that was one of the highlights of the trip. Michael and Belle were both English speaking guides that knew a lot about the food and Japanese culture also great value for money.

Nice tour to visit a unique Osaka district. Food choices were good but not great. Little too exotic for my taste. Very good guides with Jess and Mycal. Both gave us a good overview of Japanese life.

It took place on one of the best areas for restaurants. The places we went to were full of locals. They made sure we were exposed to new dishes. On top of that Jess took us to a small shrine and went into detail of Shinto religion.

Definitely recommend doing this tour if you want a quick but tasteful experience of the Shinsekai neighborhood! Having someone to guide was awesome!

We booked this trip just a couple of days beforehand. We were the only guests with Bel our tour guide and a trainee . We walked round a very small area with lots of bright lights and lots of people, but started at a small shrine which was interesting to see. The food stops were excellent, we tasted so many different dishes and Bel ensured we were happy with what was on offer. She looked after us well. There were also two drinks included so we came away very full and feeling we had value for money. The two guides were very easy to talk to so we learnt more about Japanese culture.
