A wonderful addition to travel! Learning about local food opens doors to learning so much more. The olive oil tasting showed me which types to use for different applications. The cooking itself was hands on, with fresh seafood and vegetables. The facility is well appointed and sparkling clean - all is provided. I was impressed at the instructor's depth of knowledge. Alba created a collaborative environment so that by the time we were finished, we traded contact information so to share results of our paella made at home. Add this to your itinerary - a terrific evening's entertainment!

We did a paella cooking class in Málaga this morning, hosted by guide Javi and chef Pepe, and it exceeded all expectations. The class started with a visit to the local market, where Javi, a true foodie, shared great insights about Spanish cuisine and local ingredients. We got to taste some amazing regional products and olive oils (Spanish olive farmers often supply the “Italian” olive products in northern Europe supermarkets) Back at the modern, beautifully equipped kitchen, chef Pepe led the cooking session flawlessly; calm, skilled, and fun, keeping everyone engaged while we cooked paella, made sangria and even prepared churros. The food turned out fantastic, the atmosphere was good and relaxed, and the experience felt both authentic and professional. Highly recommended. 100% worth it. Big thanks to Javi and Pepe for a real good experience!

After waiting nearly 20 minutes at the meeting point and finally getting a response to our multiple inquiries via the Viator app, we were informed that we were at an old meeting point. We had checked the Viator app multiple times before leaving our accommodations and there was nothing about a change in the meeting location. Once we heard back from Jose he was helpful in getting us to the correct location to join the group. But we missed the first 40 minutes of the tour. Jose told us this has happened multiple times before and it wasn’t our fault. Very disappointing that Viator and/or the vendor aren’t doing a good job of keeping their customers informed of the correct meeting location.

The best paella I’ve ever tried. The class was very hands on, the flavors were amazing. It was definitely a great experience. The additional recipes for gazpacho, churros and sangria were a bonus. I will definitely recommend it and will love to take more classes the next time I’m in Malaga

An excellent experience with a helpful and knowledgable guide and an excellent chef. The group enjoyed each others company particularly when the knives went away One disappointment, we were promised the recipe for the dishes we made but these never arrived despite making a further request

We had a wonderful cooking workshop. Cooking paella and making sangria in the traditional way. You don't just make Paella. Attention, time and product knowledge are important. Our cook Alba had all that. A beautiful afternoon and highly recommended for everyone.
