What To Expect

A short bike ride through some of Palm Springs historic neighborhoods will lead guests to the world famous Indian Canyons, ancestral home of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. There, guests will take a short nature walk along a running stream in a beautiful palm tree oasis. The return ride features more Palm Springs neighborhoods and a stop at Kreem, a boutique ice creamery for a sweet treat when open. This is a group tour.

Captain Ron was a wealth of information. Educational, fun and historical! Great combination of riding, informative and nature. So grateful we chose Big Wheel again.

Great and easy ride through some local neighborhoods on your way to the hike. Hike was beautiful and our guide Ron was very informative about native land and vegetation. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Will say I was happy to have the e-bike to get up the hill before the hike.

This bike and canyon hike tour was an absolute highlight of our time in Palm Springs. Ron, our guide, was exceptional. He is knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about the desert environment. He shared fascinating insights about the local geology, plant life, and history that added to the experience and made the adventure both educational and fun. This was a memorable way to explore Palm Springs beyond the typical tourist spots. I recommend you have Ron as your guide.

Great tour to guide you through part of Palm Springs and Indian Canyon. Ben was great tour guide. He had plenty of knowledge to share. Enjoyed the hike. Good way to stretch legs and see different part before riding back down.

Ron, our tour guide, was excellent! He was extremely knowledgeable and was very friendly. I would highly recommend his bike and walking tour of the Indian Canyon Oasis.

This was a really great tour with both the biking and the hiking. Indian Canyon is something to see. The biking portion includes a very long gradual hill which is a bit challenging. You don't realize how steep until the descent.

We've been on SO MANY tours over the years and this one was one of our favs...because of Kolin. He comes super prepared with water, snacks, sunscreen and the MOST FUN personality! The biking portion was safe and scenic (get the upgrade to an E-bike if you aren't a big rider....the uphill into the park is more challenging than it looks!!) The use of in-ear sets allowed us to hear Kolin's commentary all throughout the ride even when we were spread out. The walk was easy and beautiful. Such a lovely little oasis in the desert. It was such a fun morning. we highly recommend it. Also, the bike shop is easy to find and has plentiful parking.
