What To Expect

Upon arrival at the meeting point, step inside, receive a welcome glass of Prosecco, then go behind the scenes to see how an authentic Italian restaurant is run. Prepare to learn the secrets of Italian cuisine in a popular Sorrento location by the sea. Tie on your apron and enter the kitchen to make your way to your workstation, where you will master the art of the region’s most famous pasta dishes and tiramisu. Receive step by step guidance on how to prepare the perfect pasta dough, which type of flour to use, and the difference between pasta fresca and pasta secca. Once the pasta is ready, learn how to prepare the most delicious tiramisu. We booked this cooking class same day & it ended up being private for just my husband & me. They did call and ask if we wanted to do the dinner class vs. lunch to be with others, but we preferred the lunch so they accommodated us with just us two. It doesn’t mention it in the booking, but the meet up point is for driver pick up. The driver then drives you about 15-20minutes outside of Sorrento, into the mountains at a different restaurant. Antonio, the chef for our class was AWESOME! Easy to talk to, made the class fun, & really knew what he was talking about! The food was amazing!!! Definitely show up hungry; we couldn’t finish our plates of tagliatelle or our bottle of wine from being so full. The food was so delicious that we are serving homemade ravioli and tiramisu for holiday dinner to our family. The view from the restaurant was also incredible & we were able to catch the sunset during class. We would recommend this to anyone!!

If your looking for a fun time and change of pace, this is a great activity! We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with our group, learning how to make two types of pasta and tiramisu. And the best part was eating what we prepared and drinking wine with our group afterwards. We highly recommend this tour. It's for people of all ages.

Great experience. Everyone had an individual, well organized work station. Maria guided us through every step, with very practical insights. Her English was very fluent. The view overlooking Sorrento was worth the 20 minute shuttle, driver Salvatore, speaks only Italian, great for those practicing Italian, good guy as well.

Friendly people - but still a scam. Cannot be called a cooking class. Chef does all the work and you make bland pasta. Making the pasta sauce should be part of the class

A great experience for a traditional Italian cooking class. The pasta and tori is tasted amazing, and the host was very friendly and funny and patient and clearly explained everything. Only negative was I struggled to find the meeting point.
