A tradition from the Edo period! This is a plan where you can experience the Japanese soba making experience, from actually experiencing it to tasting it. In addition, after experiencing making soba noodles, you can enjoy Hokkaido-only sika deer meat shabu-shabu and tempura until the soba noodles are boiled.

Shabu-shabu is a very popular food in Japan. A popular item along with Japanese sushi and tempura! Also, tempura is the king of Japanese food that everyone knows!

Enjoy the soba you made yourself along with these two items.

Our store is usually a popular handmade soba restaurant in Sapporo City.

The soba craftsman will happily support you during the experience.

What To Expect

Now you can enjoy the soba making experience that used to be difficult! Even easier! Enjoy SOBA hitting experience! Sapporo Subway Tozai Line Miyanosawa Station Exit 6 3 steps on foot Within walking distance from Shiroi Koibito Park etc. If you are coming by car, please use the 4 parking spaces in front of the store. 15 minutes by car from Sapporo Station You will go through the entire soba experience from making soba to cutting soba and tasting. Furthermore, enjoy seasonal tempura and Hokkaido deer meat shabu-shabu! Even first-timers can feel at ease as the soba craftsmen will provide full support. The soba I made myself is much more delicious than any soba I've ever eaten. Flow of soba making experience ① Mix buckwheat flour ②Stretch the soba noodles ③Cut the soba noodles ④ Enjoy tempura and shabu-shabu made by Japanese chefs along with soba noodles The actual soba making experience will take approximately 30 minutes. After that there will be a tasting and all the time required. It will all be over in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Even small children can easily and happily make soba noodles. *About inquiries: Our shop operates as a handmade soba restaurant during lunch hours, so we may not be able to respond to inquiries on the same day. Also, if you are late for the start time of the experience, you may cause inconvenience to other customers at other start times. If you are unable to arrive by the start time, your reservation will be treated as a cancellation without prior notice.

Taka was really helpful in guiding us through the soba making process. It was super fun and easy to follow! We were able to ask him more in depth questions about the process and history. We do speak a bit of Japanese though but he was very knowledgeable

The soba making class was a wonderful family activity. Taku was a great teacher making this hands on experience an educational and fun one. We gained a better appreciation for art of soba making. The soba, tempura and shabu shabu meal was a delicious ending to the class. An experience we would definitely recommend to others.

I had no idea how complex making soba was until I took this class with my partner. He allowed us to experience making it by hand, and explaining why certain processes are necessary. I had a deeper appreciation of soba noodles. The food served was amazing with kakkiage, tempura, and the venison hotpot. The venison was really really good, and never thought I'd actually enjoy venison cut as a bacon and dipped in a hotpot.

It was a great experience of learning how to handmade soba. It was such an ad hoc idea and the restaurant is so easy and convenience to make the arrangement. The sensei is so nice and patient and details. We have such a great fun experience and definitely recommending to our friends and you guys. Have a great trip.
