This cooking class was an incredible experience from start to finish. It was so hands on, informative, and full of helpful tips that made it both fun and educational. We prepared several delicious dishes and enjoyed amazing wines paired with each course, which made the experience even more special. They also surprised my daughter with a sweet birthday celebration, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everything about this class was warm, welcoming, and memorable. Highly recommend!

This was a great cooking class! We wanted a more in depth experience than pastel Antas and we mad a pastry appetizer, main dish was cod, eggs & potato and a French toast dessert. Porto spritzer & wines.

It was extraordinary: very nice atmosphere, opportunity to meet new people, learn simple and rigorous techniques that make a difference to our table and that will stay. Chef Tânia is very friendly, attentive, and a great professional. Competence was evident in every detail. The meal proposed, which we made under your guidance, is really a delight and sharing it with the group was very good and very fun. Moments that count. Time has flown!

Absolutely perfect experience! Even before we arrived in Porto Tomas was communicating with us and giving us detailed information on some potential weather conditions in Porto and other areas in Portugal. Above and beyond! The class itself was given by Tanya a world class professionally trained chef, assisted by Barbara her daughter. They gave good instructions and were patient, the drinks were flowing, the food we cooked was delicious. My friend was apprehensive because he has little cooking experience but he said this was one of the best highlights of our entire trip. Appropriate for anyone regardless of experience in the kitchen. 10 out of 5 stars if that was possible!

Tanya and her team were very knowledgeable and friendly conducting the class. We learned many new techniques and recipes in the traditional Portuguese style of cooking. The wine pairings were wonderful as well. We would definitely take a class of hers again.

My husband and I had an EXCELLENT time! Our head chef and teacher had studied at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, but was from Portugal. She was able to teach us some really important basics to Portuguese cooking (and cooking in general) while helping us create elevated flavors and yummy dishes. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of time and effort into creating an experience for you to connect and enjoy the company of others taking the class, as well as learning about the local cuisine. Cannot recommend enough!

We attended a cooking class yesterday and it was a great experience all around. Tanja was a fantastic chef – competent, warm and passionate about it. Her daughter supported her wonderfully, the interaction between the two was just great. Together we cooked a three-course meal and not only learned a lot, but also laughed a lot. The other participants – Claire and Zac as well as Maria and Francisco – were also super nice, and we got along very well from the beginning. We found it particularly nice that you could take many small tricks and tips for everyday kitchen life with you, which you can really use at home. The atmosphere was relaxed, personal and very pleasant. We will definitely come back – then gladly with friends. Absolutely recommend!
