This was the second of the tours we did with Roundabout and it was excellent. Again our guide was very informative and a good driver. I highly recommend Roundabout.

My wife and I joined this small group day trip, that started at 8:30am. Meeting point was by the fountain in front of the Eurostars hotel in Ljubljana. Only 2 blocks from our accommodations. I believe we had 7 in our group. Primus, our tour guide and driver, picked us up from there on time, transport in a comfortable van. Primus was wonderful. A great driver, good in conversation, and very knowledgeable. A joy to visit with. And he actually gave us our own private guided tour through Postojna castle. He did a great job. The castle being the first stop, we then went on to the Postojna Cave. There he got us all situated in the correct tour line, gave us information, and off we went. The train ride back and forth in the cave was fun, and the walking tour in the cave was very cool we were in the cave system for quite a while. We then met Primus outside, and he brought us back to our pickup point. Both the castle and cave were well worth the time and money. Primus made the trip even better.

We had a wonderful trip with Optimus Primus as our driver guide. He is engaging, informative and a pleasant person who is caring about his clients. The drive was excellent in a Mercedes van.

We signed up for a small group tour, but it turned out we were the only ones on the tour that day. We got our fabulous guide all to ourselves for the Predjama Cave/Castle; he was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. Afterwards the Postojna Cave visit was extremely well-organized and fabulous to see; even though they take thousands through the cave every day, we only saw part of one other group during our tour. Our Roundabout guide was timely both when he picked us up in the morning and upon completion of the Postojna Cave tour. Altogether a fabulous tour and a great way to spend a hot and humid day in Ljubljana!

Our guide Primus was really experienced and it comes across in how much he was able to share about Slovenia at the beginning of the tour. He took our group of 4 to the Castle first to avoid crowds at the Cave and personally guided us through it, instead of us using audio guides. We had about an hour here. Then we were driven to Postojna Cave, shown where to line up for an official English tour, and told to meet after in the carpark by 1pm. The wait wasn't too long. Towards the end of the tour (after seeing the "Baby Dragons"), there's a World's Only Cave Post Office so don't dawdle too much or you won't have enough time to shop before the return train leaves. We had about 20min after the tour to browse the outside shops and use the toilet. The 1pm deadline was pretty strict as our guide didn't want to be caught up in traffic back to Ljubljana. This didn't feel like it was enough time. So the tour did the job to get us to the sites, but there's hardly any leisure time.

there were only four of us on the tour which was great, i was able to sit in the front seat as i get car sick easily which i appreciated, pick up and drop off was great, the whole tour was very punctual, he gave us a personal tour of the castle and made sure we were in the right spot for the cave tour, we were so happy we did the small group tour vs driving ourselves, def recommend

Postojna Cave is a must, even if there are really many tourists! The groups are very large, and it is not always easy to understand the guide! That said, the experience is definitely worth it! In Predjama Castle, there are fewer people. However, there are many steps!

The trip from Ljubljana city centre to Predjama Castle and Postojna Caves was very good. We started on time (8:30 am) from the city centre on a good van with air conditioning and an English speaking driver. There were only three people (me included) in the tour, so it was a kind of a "private" tour. The driver explained some basic facts about the caves, the castle and the history of Slovenia. After arriving at Predjama Castle and having bought the ticket (valid for both attractions) we visited the castle (nice, although most of it was reconstructed after WW II), and we had about half-hour free time before driving to Postojna Cave. The caves are spectacular, and the visit starts with a subterranean train ride for approx. 3 Kilometers. Then there is a 1.5 Kilometers walk through several cave chambers, and at the end another train ride that brings you back to the cave entrance. At the castle we were provided with an audio guide (far too detailed), and at the cave the tour was explained by a guide belonging to the Caves organization - these explanations were somehow very basic.
