WELCOME to Colombia's most charming and colorful tour: the GUATAPÉ TOUR! Unlike large tours with 1 guide for 40 people, you will travel in a shared bus, but each guide accompanies a MAXIMUM GROUP of 18 people to ensure a more intimate experience at an affordable price.
We start with a DELICIOUS BREAKFAST. Then, we will visit the TOWN OF PEÑOL and its FAMOUS REPLICA.
The best is yet to come! The PIEDRA DEL PEÑOL challenges you with its 700 steps. Are you up for climbing and enjoying a 360º view? You can do it!
After a TRADITIONAL LUNCH, we will take a relaxing LUXURY BOAT RIDE to admire the incredible landscapes and properties.
Later, we will visit the town of Guatapé with our guide: CALLE DE LAS SOMBRILLAS, PLAZA DE LOS ZÓCALOS, CALLE DEL RECUERDO, and PARQUE CENTRAL, and you will have time to explore at your own pace.
Finally, we will interact with adorable animals such as LLAMAS.

It is advisable to bring 30,000 COP in cash if you want to climb the rock, as they only accept this form of payment.
Transportation may be shared with another group.
Groups per guide are limited to a maximum of 18 people.

Menu: soup of the day and main course: rice, salad, yuca, and choice of protein (chicken, chorizo, pork belly, pork, or ground beef). Beverage: juice. Vegan and vegetarian menu available.
Menu: Corn arepa, soft cheese, and eggs of your choice: scrambled, with seasonings, with sausage, or with ham. To drink: coffee, hot chocolate, or juice of the day. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available.

5.00My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the guatape tour. Our tour guide Nicolas was very knowledgeable and had an awesome personality that made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The food on the tour was also delicious both breakfast and lunch. The boat tour was very refreshing and had a great vibe and music to match. Nicolas did a fantastic job of making sure all guests were taking care of. I also want to commend Hernan, an additional tour guide for also being very attentive, friendly. and welcoming. Last but not least, I have to commend our driver Juan Diego for being so gracious and patient both to and from Guatape. I would recommend this tour over and over again!

5.00Full-day excursion that allows you to leave the city of Medellin and get to know the Peñol reservoir, first by boat, then from the picturesque town of Guatapé and as a capstone climb the Peñol. Recommended comfortable footwear to climb the more than 600 stairs that has, the views from above are wonderful. The guides did a great job, very lively, attentive at all times and willing to help I ran out of battery and got my cell phone recharged on the bus. To repeat.

He put us on to all the local gems, made sure we were safe, and kept the vibes high the whole time. If you’re trying to experience the REAL Colombia & not the basic tourist stuff, book with Jairo.
