WELCOME to Colombia's most charming and colorful tour: the GUATAPÉ TOUR! Unlike large tours with one guide for 40 people, you will travel in a shared bus, but each guide accompanies a MAXIMUM GROUP of 18 people to ensure a more intimate experience at an affordable price.
We start with a DELICIOUS BREAKFAST. Then, we will visit the TOWN OF PEÑOL and its FAMOUS REPLICA.
The best is yet to come! The PIEDRA DEL PEÑOL challenges you with its 700 steps. Are you up for climbing and enjoying a 360º view? You can do it!
After a TRADITIONAL LUNCH, we will take a relaxing PREMIUM BOAT RIDE to admire the incredible landscapes and properties.
Later, we will visit the town of Guatapé with our guide: CALLE DE LAS SOMBRILLAS, PLAZA DE LOS ZÓCALOS, CALLE DEL RECUERDO, and PARQUE CENTRAL, and you will have time to explore at your own pace.
Finally, we will interact with adorable animals such as LLAMAS.

The itinerary may be modified according to weather conditions, traffic, and crowds in each stop.
It is advisable to bring 30,000 COP in cash if you want to climb the rock, as they only accept this form of payment.
Transportation may be shared with another group of 18 people.
Groups per guide are limited to a maximum of 18 people.
Waiting time at the meetup points is 10 minutes maximum, if you arrive later we will continue, respecting others time

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect
Medellin
We will meet at the agreed time with the guide in Parque del Poblado to begin this exciting adventure to the famous town of zócalos: Guatapé!
Marinilla
To start the day with the best energy, we will take a short break along the way to enjoy a rich traditional breakfast.

Menu: soup of the day and main course: rice, salad, yuca, and choice of protein (chicken, chorizo, pork belly, pork, or ground beef). Beverage: juice. Vegan and vegetarian menu available.
Menu: Corn arepa, soft cheese, and eggs of your choice: scrambled, with seasonings, with sausage, or with ham. To drink: coffee, hot chocolate, or juice of the day. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available.

5.00If you want a full day experience for a great price, this is it. From good food, llamas, and guatape is a beautiful city with lots to see and do. Climbing 700 stairs up the rock and boat ride through the reservoir is a must. Nico and Marianana were awesome guides and Pedro the driver was great. Very adventurous day!

5.00First off we were late and they left us. Buuuuut Santiago and the staff stayed coordinated and in communication to help us catch up with the tour. They even got our breakfast to go for us because we didn’t catch up to them. The tour was full of great people and great energy from the staff. Great music and dancing and laughing the whole time from the staff and participants.

5.00Day trip to Guatapé was well worth it. Our guide Oscar kept us moving with a good sense of humor along the way. It is a lot of ground to cover in one day so prepare yourself for a long, full day. Glad I went mid week I suspect that on Friday or weekends traffic would have meant an even longer day with far more people at La Piedta. The boat ride, the walk through town, climbing La Piedra and the stunning views at the top all well worth it. Lots to see and learn outside of Medellín and this tour is a nice way to do that.
