What To Expect
DMZ
Before we go into DMZ area and do ID Check, will look through 3 stops - Brdige of freedom, Mangbaedan Altar, Steam locomotive destroyed during Korean war in Imjingak Park. Imjingak was built in 1972 for the benefit of displaced North Koreans. It is at the end of National Road No. 1, which civilians can access.
Mangbaedan is an altar where North Korean refugees in the South hold ancestral rites on the two biggest national holidays to their parents and grandparents left behind in the North.

5.00Tiger was our driver and guide. His experience in the service to S. Korea provided insight and experience that exponentially changed the tour. He provided images, stories and answered every possible question all while providing a safe and enjoyable ride. I would highly recommend this tour and would hope you have Tiger as your guide through the history of the Korean War with the perspective of someone that experienced the DMZ personally.

5.00What an amazing experience. From the start Tiger was very communicative in letting us know what to expect from picking us up in his G80 Genesis to the day ahead. We started with the DMZ drive while getting a great history lesson on South Korea. We took the tour around three areas of the DMZ and since you’re not allowed to take pictures at certain spots Tiger made sure to share photos of what we were seeing. It was great experiencing this trip with someone who has a ton of knowledge and understanding of the DMZ and what my is happening. If you want a great day then this is a must while visiting South Korea.

5.00We did this tour last week with Marie and loved it. Travelling as a family of four with two teens (17 and 13) we weren't certain how interesting this would be for them, but they loved it too. The perfect blend of history and interesting information, all four of us really enjoyed our time with Marie. She was very personable, smart, and fun to talk with. She gave great recommendations for things to do and eat during the rest of our stay and she was a great driver and had a very nice, clean van that we rode in. Highly recommend this tour!
