Officially opened on November 9, 2014, it features the majestic Shakya Singha Maha Seya, enshrining sacred relics, and the largest sermon hall in Yatinuwara. Additionally, meditation huts support monastic practices, making Nelligala a center for spiritual growth and devotion.

5.00We did a private Kandy day tour at Tony's and had an incredibly great, versatile day, where we also learned a lot about the country and the history of Buddhism. Tony adapted the tour to our liking, so we ultimately had the perfect mix of fun, culture and great views.
