Damaraland
The „Damaraland“ is part of the Kunene Region in the north-west of Namibia and is located between the Brandberg and the little village of Sesfontein. The Damaraland is characterised by its rocky and rugged landscapes of rough, fascinating beauty. The flora and fauna af the region have adapted perfectly to the harsh weather conditions of high heat and persiting droughts. Here you find the desert-dwelling elephants who with elongated limbs and broader soles are able to handle the extreme rock and sand desert better and can travel for kilometres in the dry river beds in search of water.

Twyfelfontein
Twyfelfontein, officially known as ǀUi-ǁAis, is an UNESCO World Heritage site of ancient rock engravings in the Kunene Region of north-western Namibia. Twyfelfontein is famous because of its many rock paintings and rock engravings (Petroglyphs) of the San (Bushmen) of which 2500 were counted. Specifications about the age of the engravings fluctuate and a period of 1000 – 10000 years is stated. Remarkable is that the engravings were made without the use of metal tools. It is presumed that quartz tools were used instead as many quartz chips were found here. The Twyfelfontein area is also a great spot to encounter the famous Desert Adapted Elephants.

We made a 4 week trip through Namibia as a family as a self-drive. We had previously indicated the duration, the approximate route and our budget. Abraham has put together the perfect trip for us. We were picked up by rental car at the airport and taken back at the end. The accommodations are all recommended. There were many more tips for trips, etc. We also booked a day trip to Victoria Falls. Everything was perfectly organized so we didn't have to worry about anything and could just enjoy the trip. Communication went well too. You could reach out at any time and received a response very quickly. I would definitely book again with Abraham and can really recommend Bushbucks Safaris.

We booked the tour 5 months in advance with Abraham and everything was perfect. Abraham and his team are able to help you with everything. They will check your demands (time, interest, experience etc.) and plan the tour and the car according to it. We had the perfect car for our demands and the best route. We saw so many animals, the big daddy dune and had the nicest lodges. Thank you very much for this incredible experience! We are definitely coming back and will definitely book with Abraham again! All the best from Hamburg, Laura

We experienced the incredible fascination of Namibia in 14 days. Abraham has planned us the perfect self-drive tour. We are still absolutely thrilled with this beautiful trip. The accommodations, activities, car, online briefing and communication during the trip were sensational. Thanks to Abraham for letting us experience this. We will be back!

Luckily, we accepted the offer to go to Sven's briefing. Here we received valuable tips for our trip. The map, on which our route was precisely marked, served us very well, as the app and offline maps did not always work reliably.

Abraham helped me and my friend plan an itinerary for a 9 day trip around Namibia. Starting with Windhoek, we drove ourselves to Etosha, Damraland, Skeleton Coast and Swakpmund. It was my first time in Namibia and with this itinerary we felt like I really got to explore Namibia and see different landscapes. It was a great experience and Abraham's knowledge and expertise was apparent every step of the way. I would definitely recommend!

Abraham planned a 11 days guided safari tour for my boyfriend and me. Although it was low season, we saw a lot of animals thanks to Abraham's efforts. He is very familiar with all areas and can answer any question. The tour was well organised and there were no problems. We have fallen in love with the country and its many facets and are already looking forward to travelling to Namibia again. Of course, we will book the tour with Abraham again. Thanks to the best tour guide. It was an amazing experience!

Everything was so well coordinated and planned. It was a really a good tour for a self-drive beginner, as it doesn't involve too much driving and still takes you to all the must-sees in Namibia. The instruction by Abraham were very useful as well. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back for more of Namibia.

I can't thank Abraham and Bushbucks Safari enough for taking our dream and bringing into a reality that far exceeded any expectations. Traveling in Africa is expensive and Bushbucks Safari is the BEST investment you can make to ensure you have the adventure of a lifetime. Abraham planned and guided an 8-day tour of Namibia (Etosha, Swakopmund, Sossusvlei) for me and my three older kids (15, 18, 20) - taking into consideration our budget, time constraints, and interests. His communication throughout the planning process was impeccable and created an immediate trust and sense of peace that we were in great hands. From the moment we started our guided adventure, it was clear that Abraham has a deep love and knowledge of Namibia and its wonders. We spent 8 days together and appreciate his expertise, tracking abilities, sense of humor, infectious smile, patience, easy going manner, punctuality, and passion for Namibia. My 3 kids and I think the world of Abraham and can't imagine exploring Namibia or Southern Africa without him. While you will start as a client, I assure you - you will leave with a new friend and a much fuller appreciation for the beauty, history, and magic that is Namibia. Abraham takes great care in planning and executing custom experiences to delight his clients. Every lodge we stayed in was lovely, unique and offered a different "taste" of Namibia. In addition, my oldest son and I had to work in Windhoek following our adventure and Abraham also planned wonderful excursions for my other two children.
