You will have a great experience at the only wildlife National Park in the world within a capital city. The park is made of wide open grass plains, and scattered acacia bush and plays host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhinos, lions, leopards, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and a diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. All this is in the backdrop of the city scrappers. You will have a short rest at one viewpoint located in the park and also the best place for the photos.

What To Expect

Nairobi National Park

You will be picked up from the airport or your hotel and driven to Nairobi National Park through the East gate. Upon entry, the tour can start with a visit to the Ivory Burning Site where elephant tusks and rhino horns have been torched by Kenyan presidents to show the country’s commitment to stop poaching. You will also be driven around in search of the park's diverse wildlife. In the course of the game drive, you will visit one of the several picnic sites to have a short break. The park is made of wide open grass plains, and scattered acacia bush and plays host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, and a diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. All this is in the backdrop of the city scrapers. After the game drive, the guide will take you through the coffee shop to rest and finally drop you back at the airport or to your hotel accommodation.

coffee shop: After safari, we usually pass you to one of our designated coffee shop to rest and drop you back to your hotel or airport.
Private tour: This is a private tour and you will enjoy the game drive with the a good conditioned tour van with a professional guide.
Duration: 4 hours: This tour takes between 4 to 5 hours with a stop at the coffee shop after the tour with an experienced guide.
Tour van: This is the wonderful safari vehicle for game viewing. you can see very far while on the park from customized roof.

Our animal safari experience was absolutely incredible, and Joseph made it even better! From the moment we started, he was knowledgeable, patient, and so friendly. He knew exactly where to take us to see the animals up close, and he explained everything in a way that made the journey exciting and educational. Joseph made us feel safe the entire time and made sure we didn’t miss any of the highlights. His passion for wildlife and his warm personality truly made this experience unforgettable.

John was a fantastic guide. Not only did he know his way around the park and the different animals, plants and other fascinating stories of the park but he was also well connected with the other guides to get us to the hotspots of the day.

We had a truly amazing experience on this private safari trip into Nairobi National Park. Our tour guide Simon was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive of Kenya, the parks and the natural well being of the animals. We were truly fortunate to have this opportunity and take back with us not only pictures but memories of a life time. Thank you, trip recommended to everyone. Just a note it’s worth going through the somewhat complicated Kenya government website to pay the park entrance fee prior to pickup.

The safari was awesome. Joseph is a great guide. Very knowledgeable. I told him I wanted to see lions and he made it a priority to find them. Felt 100% safe the whole time. Highly recommend.

One. Great experience we had a day to visit Nairobi national park everything was fast and accessible dates the private safari was very good thanks to our guide joseph very patient my husband takes pictures and he was not rushing us at any time always said take your time also we had an experience with a black rhino came on top of the car and we were scared but joseph knew how to handle the cutustion and nothing happened thank you everything excellent recommended 100%

We had an amazing experience visiting the national park. Our driver, Joseph was there early to pick us up. During the drive he made sure to share his knowledge of the park and the animals. His experience made the drive an enjoyable experience, he knew the right spots to find animals and he communicated constantly with other guides too. Overall a great experience that we would recommend.

The best morning! What an incredible experience. Joseph our guide was prompt, knowledgeable and extremely good at his job. We saw way more than we expected on such a compact trip, and for the price I think it’s extremely good value. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Nairobi.
