It was such a great experience. We chose this one because they provided pick up and drop off. Others provided it too but we just went with this one. We came late because our pickup ride, the car broke down, of all times right? I’m just going to say it’s part of the Kenyan experience. We got there late but the group waited for us. Our Driver’s name was EDWIN. He was one cool dude, funny, make jokes, very engaging and shared so much knowledge about the safari. He made sure we saw every animal there is to see and communicated with other drivers, if they’ve seen this particular type of animal. He even stopped to pick up liter twice left by other people because it’s important to keep nature clean. Imagine each person who visited left one piece of liter, how much liter would’ve accumulated. He stopped to help a car that had a flat tire. He had a jack and a few men came out to lift up the car so the jack can be placed underneath. He’s a genuine person with great character. We saw many types of birds, alligators, hippos, impalas, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, black rhino, baboons, elephants, others I don’t remember the names to. The one we were on the hunt for was for lions. And that definitely paid off, we saw 2 lionesses by the side of the road, getting ready to go hunting. We didn’t see a male lion, heard they were lazy and just lounged around somewhere while the female hunt. Wanted to see the mane, but it was still all good. After the safari, Edwin took us to a local shopping center for souvenirs and coffee/snack. We also got to see people dressed in tribal clothing doing a dance. We headed back to the safari drop off point late but that was also because he made up the hours for us coming late. He made sure we got all the time we paid for. Thank you Edwin, we appreciate you. So look for Edwin!

We were picked up from our hotel right on time and dropped off without a hitch. Edwin, our tour guide, was absolutely brilliant! He was incredibly positive and informative throughout the entire trip, making the experience even better. We were thrilled to see so many animals: lions 🦁, rhinos 🦏, zebras 🦓, crocodiles 🐊, giraffes 🦒, and many others! The hippos 🦛 were a bit shy, preferring to stay mostly submerged, so we only caught glimpses of their ears and noses 🙃. Just a heads-up, the van we toured in was a bit old and dingy, so it's good to set your expectations accordingly. However, considering everything, this tour offers value for money, especially with the right expectations about the vehicle. Once again, the highlight of the tour was definitely having Edwin as our guide!
