Basilica de la Macarena

We will begin the visit in front of the Basilica de la Macarena, one of the most iconic temples in the city. We will visit the ancient walls and the famous gateway to historic Seville. We will walk through one of the most authentic areas of the city, and we will visit San Luís de los Franceses, a true hidden gem. This visit collects a good number of historical anecdotes from a neighborhood, as special as Macarena, which has treasured them over the centuries. The visit ends in St. Mark's Square, a vibrant area, with many restaurants, an "alternative" atmosphere and very close to the most important monuments of the city. Arco De La Macarena

Contemplate the impressive presence of the Puerta de la Macarena in Seville, also known as the Arco de la Macarena. This architectural symbol, stands as a guardian at the entrance to the Macarena neighborhood. Together with the Postigo del Aceite and the Puerta de Córdoba, it is one of the three surviving entrances to the ancient walls of Seville. Located on the Historic Ronda (Resolana Street), within the Macarena neighborhood, it offers a vision of the rich history of this iconic city.
