What To Expect
Pompeii Archaeological Park
Rewind 2,000 years with this private 2-hour walking tour of Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Meet your knowledgeable guide at the entrance, and explore the well-preserved highlights of this Roman city, all frozen in time since 79 AD. See the streets, shops and the Forum; and view the brothel, an ancient theater and more. If you have children in tow, choose the family tour, with maps and puzzles to engage the kids. Enjoy the full attention of a private guide on this private tour.
We will relax in this beautiful family-run winery in the National Park of Mt Vesuvius. It is beautifully scenic and it is going to be a fun experience. Please be aware this item is not included in the starting price of the tour. First, there will be a short guided walk to the vineyard to discover this unique land and how they produce their “Lacryma Christi” wines. During lunch, you will taste several different wines and the waiter will introduce it. Lunch consists of a set menu: Appetizers: Bruschetta, provolone cheese, salame and capocollo cured pork meat Main: Spaghetti with the cherry tomatoes “del Piennolo” from Mt Vesuvius Dessert: “Pastiera” - wheat and ricotta cake 5 different wines will be served (Rosè Sparkling, White, Rosé. Red, Red Reserva, sweet Dessert Wine). The cost is € 28 per person that can be paid on the spot with a card or cash. There also is an upgraded version of the wines for the cost of € 35 per person.

5.00Our tour was great. Fabrizio was engaging and shared a lot of history and information to help understand Pompeii and the culture at the time. The lunch and wine tasting was fantastic, and the hike up Mt. Vesuvius was a great way to end the day. We will use Leisure Italy in the future. Thank you, Fabrizio.

5.00A wonderful, personal experience from start to finish. We were driven by a great driver who navigated streets and traffic with savvy. My husband and I enjoyed our personal tour guide and the way she swept us gracefully around large crowded tours to see the sights and experience Pompeii on a very personal level. Afterwards wine, food, and Vesuvius met perfectly on the mountainside Winery for a one of a kind experience. Although we chose not to climb the mountain, which was included in our tour, we know that too would have been worth it. 10 of 10 would do this again.

5.00We had an amazing day with Fabrizio where he picked us up at the Naples train station, to Herculaneum, wine tasting at cantina del Vesuvio and onto Pompeii. The trip was beautifully organized, we learned so much but never felt rushed. Can’t recommend it enough. Beyond expectations. Fabrizio is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does.

From the moment we were picked up, everything was perfectly organized and tailored to our interests. Our guide, Fabrizio, was a treasure trove of information. His passion for the history of Pompeii was infectious, and he shared fascinating insights that made our visit truly engaging. Exploring the ancient ruins with him felt like stepping back in time, and we were captivated by the stories of daily life in this once-thriving city. The wine tasting was the perfect lunch. Cantina Del Vesuvio Winery, set against the backdrop of Vesuvius, was idyllic. We enjoyed a selection of delicious wines, accompanied by local dishes. This tour is a fantastic blend of history, nature, and wine. It's an experience we will cherish forever and highly recommend to anyone visiting the region. Don't miss it!

5.00Fabrizio was an amazing guide at Pompeii. He was so informative and friendly and we felt like we were in great hands. He pointed out just enough so we weren’t overwhelmed, but walked away with a great feeling of knowledge. Unfortunately Mt Vesuvius was closed due to bad weather when we arrived, so instead of taken us right back to our hotel Fabrizio suggested going to look at Villa San Marco in Stabia and that was very interesting also.

5.00This tour was definitely the highlight of our trip for my partner and I. Our driver Vincenzo was very prompt and attentive, which he highly appreciated. The food and wine at Cantina Del Vesuvio was impeccable, we enjoyed the experience there far more than any wineries we had been to in Tuscany. I would also like to make a special mention to our Pompeii guide Fabio, he was so evidently passionate about his work and the tour was so engaging, we enjoyed every minute of the day and would highly recommend booking with this operator again.

5.00Pasquale picked us up promptly at our hotel. He was a wonderful driver with a very nice van, very clean. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. He dropped us off at each tour that he booked for us, explained exactly what we were doing and what time he would pick us up. He made us feel very safe and well taken care of. I would recommend Pasquale to anyone!!! Our guide at Pompeii, Danilo (a colleague of Pasquale's) was very puctual, trustworthy, and very friendly. What a memorable day. One of my sons says it might have been the best day of his life!
