During the buggy tour in Bayahibe, we will explore fertile conucos (fields of land) that are an integral part of local agricultural life. These cultivated lands offer us a unique opportunity to learn about the traditional agricultural practices of the region. In addition to enjoying the scenery, participants will receive a brief explanation of how these lands have been used for generations to grow products such as sugar cane, tobacco and other crops, essential to the Dominican economy and culture.
Bayahibe Tour
As part of the experience, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a tasting of fresh sugar cane, an emblematic product of the Dominican Republic. During the stop at the conucos, they will be explained the process of cultivation and harvesting of this plant, and they will be able to taste its sweet and refreshing juice, just as local generations have done for centuries. This activity allows them to connect with the country's agricultural roots while enjoying an authentic and delicious experience.

Myself , my partner and 2 teenage daughters attended this trip. We absolutely loved it , everything went so well . The tour guide was so careful when we were out driving , making sure everyone was ok . We got covered in mud which was part of the fun. The photographer was there at every moment to capture some fantastic memories. We got to see parts of the Dominican Republic we wouldn't have seen otherwise. The stop at the sugarcanes was great , we got to taste fresh sugar from the canes . All in all I could highly recommend, these guys are trying to build up there business so please go ahead and support them ; you won't be disappointed. Make sure you take money for - Bandana- 5 dollars Glasses -10 dollars Tips - Photos - 60 dollars we paid for 118 photos over 2 buggies. Great quality .

Absolutely brilliant afternoon....the weather was dreadful (thanks, Storm Melissa) and this was a last minute booking because the beach was not an option. Enormous fun, great value , Anderson has the most mischievous smile and the opportunity to see the countryside was awesome. We were going to get wet, whatever we did....this way we got wet and very muddy but squealed laughing all the way. It was our daughter's 18th birthday and it made it brilliant and hilarious in one go.

So much fun! We got to ride through the stunning countryside and made a stop in a sugar cane field and got to sample the juice and cane and learnt all about it. Got to swim in the river and try local food and drinks, the thunderstorm on the way back made for a fun drive!!

I took my dad on this tour, he is disabled using a walking stick the guys here were fantastic with us, helping my dad if he needed it. The tour itself was really good driving through some small villages seeing how the people lived here, we stopped in the sugar cane fields and tasted raw sugar cane and drinking the sugar cane juice was really nice the guys explained all about the sugar cane fields how it is harvested. Really loved the tour and would definitely do this again. Much better than the others I have tried here.

The buggies were a blast and exhilarating. They gave us freshly cut sugar cane in the crop field, delicious local food and tasty local Dominican alcoholic shots next yo the river. It was an insightful experience not to be missed. Swimming in the river wasn't very inviting though I bet many do take a dip. Local kids all wave as you go through the township.
