The location is down the stairs behind the hotel. We arrived early and Ricky welcomed us in and made us feel like old friends. We put on slippers and met others from the class and really enjoyed the company. We made multiple courses and everything was absolutely delicious. I was sad when it ended because it was so much more than just a cooking class. It was well paced, the ingredients were flavorful, Ricky was encouraging and patient and afterwards he even walked us to a nearby village to explore further. When I go back to Seoul I will definitely book this class again!

Great atmosphere, great interior design and great option for both solo and non solo travellers. It says it 2,5 hours but you don’t feel it at all

Creative, beautiful and fully educational and entertaining! We learned so much about history, made a friend and our teens got their first taste of cooking. Don’t miss this opportunity to taste and create. The history of the house is enchanting.

Great class in a cool Hanock in the Ikseon-dong Hanok Village. Park was a great host and teacher. Great conversation as there were only 3 of us (class maxes at 6 or 7, so still intimate).

Fantastic way to learn about Korea thru its food! No cooking experience required to enjoy this class- Ricky was welcoming and helpful during all steps on the class. Everything was mostly pre measured and portioned so all you needed to do was show up hungry as instructed! Food was good and a recipe PDF was sent out so we were able to recreate it for our family back in the States. The location is easy to miss but it is literally behind the Ibis hotel and the only hanok style house building there.

The experience was well planned. Ricky gave us time to interact with the other customers (1 couple and a single) to break the ice. He gave an intro about himself as well as the background about the food we were about to make. He kept the engagement light and entertaining. after the first course, while we were eating, he was efficiently prepping for the second course. Overall, a fine ambience, food was delicious and simple to make, and we would recommend this experience!
