This is a wonderful way to experience Korean food and culture. Park was a congenial host and expert chef (and spoke excellent English). He carefully demonstrated the cooking techniques to our small group, explaining why each step was done, and then helped each of us to do the same. This fun learning experience resulted in a delicious meal. Our easy conversation with Park gave us a personal view of Korean culture as he told us about himself and his family.

I booked this cooking class as a way for all of us on the trip (my husband, mother, cousin and niece) to bond and learn more about South Korean culture before we dived deep into eating and shopping in Seoul! Everyone LOVED the class and agreed it was their favorite thing about the trip! Our instructor, Ricky, was a total sweetheart. He was patient and engaging and made sure to pay attention to each participant. It was such a great and fun activity! I highly recommend this to anyone and guarantee it will be a memory for all to share, especially since you get to come home and make the meals you learned!!! Thank you to Ricky! Say hello to your wife for us :)

We had a great time. The small size of the group meant the chef could give individual attention as needed. We especially appreciated the chef explaining the significance of the dishes he taught us to prepare. I had some diet restrictions which he accommodated.

Park did an excellent job of reviewing the history behind the Royal food and explained reasons for different techniques used for cooking and flavoring. The food was delicious and of course I cooked and prepared it!
