If you do one thing while in Seoul, make it this! Learning how to make authentic Korean food while in an old Geisha house was the highlight of our trip. We went in Autumn but this would be just as great in winter or summer because of the location. It’s super close to a very vibey, fun part of Seoul so easy to explore after the class. Our teacher Ricky was awesome, very kind, funny and knowledgeable + an excellent chef! You also get sent lovely photos after the class. Overall a 10/10 very authentic and fun thing to do here. You will feel like a great cook afterwards - excited to make the recipes again at home!

What everyone should know about this particular experience is how informative it was from start to end. The instructor had good humor and very well-educated in the subject matter. He sent us a email with directions and photos on how to find the house. The group size was perfect and the recipes, portions and food was delicious. I am so glad I chose this event and not another. We met some awesome Aussie friends along the way.

My husband and I did this cooking class our second day in Korea and it was an absolutely lovely experience. Ricky was so welcoming and his vision for this class was well executed. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, classical music was playing, and we had a wonderful time. We both recommend this class and will be attempting a re-create of the dishes once we are home.
