Sailing is a great way of seeing beautiful places where you can’t come otherwise, and Stockholm happens to have the perfect environment to do so! Learn how to sail from your experienced skipper, navigate through Stockholm archipelago’s many islands, see white tailed eagles soar through the sky, enjoy boosting forward by nothing but wind power and experience life on a sailing vessel. Allow yourself to relax during a well appreciated lunch break in a sheltered bay, take a swim or laze away in the sun.

We sail on 2 boats (1 for 4 passengers and 1 for 5 passengers) so if you book for more than 5, you'll be split on 2 boats during sailing but meet for lunch

What To Expect

Nynashamn

On this sailing trip you will be making way through Stockholm's famous archipelago, and encounter many islands, both uninhabited and inhabited. During the full-day trip, there is time to dock on one of them and do some exploring. There will be time for taking it easy in nature as well, which is an important part of boat life! We sail from Nynäshamn, a 40-minute drive away from central Stockholm.

Awesome time sailing the boat, seeing the beauty of the archipelago, walking around on one of the isles, and a very nice lunch (warmed quiche, a fresh salad, beer, coffee and nice cookies.) Sofia was a wonderful guide and conversationalist! Had a wonderful time and was the highlight of my 10 day vacation in Stockholm!

We had a wonderful experience with Green Trails. Every step of the booking process was simple, and we received very clear communication every step of the way. Elis was our sailing guide who was so very kind and patient with our family (including teaching sailing basics to our two children ages 10 and 7 years). The Stockholm Archipelago is a beautiful place and we highly recommend Green Trails.

We had an incredibly nice sailing trip with Elis today. Everything was perfect: weather, boat, sailing, food, nature and last but not least Elis, who patiently explained everything to us and even let us all steer the boat. It couldn't have been better. Relaxing sailing and great captain, (Else?). We guided the boat and helped with the sails. The winds were not as accommodating, but only of the ride back.. :0)

I had an amazing time sailing with Great Trails and Elis. Everything was perfect, the boat is well maintained, the sailing was great. and the skipper (Elis) was experienced and and fun.
