Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!

Typically our trips are 2.5-3 hours in length, but time can vary based on seasons and locations of sightings.

Additional Info

Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller

Public transportation options are available nearby

Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health

Saw a ton of dolphins! It was nice being back on the water. Glad I took dramamine. Recommend that for those not used to boat tours.

That they don’t guarantee nothing. Someone had a medical emergency and they turns the boat around. So the trip was only 45 minutes and they gave us a voucher. We don’t live here. A refund would have been better

Great experience, crew was very friendly and the naturalist was very knowledgeable. Sadly we didn’t see any whales but did encounter a few pods of dolphins.

Super fun, social event. Nice staff. We saw many, many dolphins frolicking around us. We saw a giant sun fish. Being out in the middle of the ocean with people from all over the world was such fun.
