Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!

Typically our trips are 2.5-3 hours in length, but time can vary based on seasons and locations of sightings.

Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller

Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health

The whale sighting was great, but the dolphins were even more fun. Our guide was very knowledgeable and got great pictures as well.

The crew was great, we saw a whale multiple times, we saw tens of dolphins and we saw a few sea lions. We would highly recommended this tour.

I took my adult son on the 9am boat excursion. We saw tons of dolphins who swam right alongside the boat, but sadly, no whales that morning. The boat was great, the bathroom was clean, the crew were friendly and the boat never felt like it was too crowded. Next time I come back to San Diego, I will try again to see a whale.

Hundreds of dolphins around. No whales though, but you cannot always make that happen. Take enough clothes with you!

Great whale watching your.,We were able to see a grey whale and some sea lions. Highly recommend. Your guides were very knowledgeable.
