Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!

Typically our trips are 2.5-3 hours in length, but time can vary based on seasons and locations of sightings.

Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller

Bring layers! It was cold on the water and overcast despite being sunny and hot on land. The information on what to wear whale watching in San Diego was extremely helpful. Although we did not see any whales, we saw an amazing amount of dolphins. The whole trip was a lot of fun.

I went in the Whale tour with my wife. It was an awesome experience. There was a family of dolphins following our boat for quite some time: truly a magical experience. We ended up getting seasick but the crew was so accommodating and sweet and helped us out. Highly recommend!

The trip was wonderful, we saw everything from thousands of sea birds to thousands of dolphins, along with sea lions, humpback whales and fin whales all in the same place at the same time, it was magical
