Excellent food/drink tour. Varied selection of pinxtos and beverages. Hector was very knowledgeable and friendly. We felt well versed in Basque food culture after our trip! Hector also had excellent suggestions beyond the tour.
Do this tour and ask for Arantxa!!!

Arantxa was outstanding!!! So much fun to be around. Her personality and her knowledge make for the perfect few hours sampling San Sebastian’s unique food scene. Really cool blend of history culture and food/drink.

I was a little unsure if the tour would be worth the price, but Jon went above and beyond and really did a great job planning to the tour. You are able to sit down at each spot to try some food and wine/cider, which Jon explains very well. You also get a chance to meet some people (I ended up having dinner with a new friend I met on the tour). Jon even randomly introduced me to the owner of a bar we did not even stop at who remembered me the next day when I went in for some food and wine. You also get to learn about the city and the Basque culture. I would highly recommend.

We had the most amazing tour with Jon! He educated us on the history and culture of the Old Town while we strolled to pinxto bars, each one very unique. We learned about the origin and evolution of the pintxo and tasted 6 or 7 plus dessert, wine and cider! Delicious. Jon was an incredible guide who clearly loves his job and is very passionate about sharing his culture.

Our guide was outstanding. The Pinxtos were delicious. I tried several things I had never eaten before.
