What To Expect
Mercado De La Bretxa
1-Market Bites: We will visit the local Bretxa market and taste a corn-fed Iberian ham, top chorizo, local cheese, olives, oil and the famous "gilda".
2-Pintxo-stop: We will visit our particular "Private Club" where you will discover the secrets of the Gastronomic Societies.

5.00An enjoyable and high quality food and wine tour with a wonderful guide. This is the first time we joined a food and wine tour. We booked it because there are so many recommended places online that it was difficult to plan. We also did not have a lot of time during our short visit. The tour is well curated and the quality of pintxos were excellent. By the end of the tour we were very full and relaxed. Our guide, Gabi, communicates well and has a lively personality. She kept us engaged with information about the place as we moved from one pintxos bar to another, that made the tour even more enjoyable.
Excellent eating, excellent hosting!

5.00Wonderful food tour. Gabi was really welcoming and knowledgable. A real showcase into basque cuisine. Lots of different dishes to try, from the traditional to the more modern. Lovely drinks selection. Highly recommend if you are visiting Donastia. Come hungry!

5.00I went on this Old City food tour with my sister and we both had a wonderful time! Our tour guide, Gabby, was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the local traditions and culture but she was also excited to share her experiences and that enthusiasm made the entire tour even more special. She made us feel welcome and took the time to answer questions and connect with the us in a personal way. The restaurants we visited were so cute and full of charm…exactly the kind of hidden gems you hope to find but probably wouldn’t discover on your own. And the food was absolutely delicious! Every stop felt carefully chosen, and each bite gave us a deeper appreciation for the local cuisine. We left with full stomachs, new knowledge, and a real appreciation for this beautiful city. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting San Sebastián!! It’s a fantastic way to experience the heart and flavors of the city!

5.00We had a fabulous time with Jon tasting various pintxos paired with wines and other perfect drinks in the old town in San Sebastián. Jon’s choices were excellent. It was really hard to pick our favourites in the various places we ate as there was nothing we didn’t enjoy! Jon is knowledgeable and enthusiastic and absolutely knows all there is to know about the best food choices and places to go in San Sebastián for an authentic experience . We were glad we got to spend time with him and enjoyed ourselves so much we didn’t notice the rain after a while! Thank you! We will come back (in better weather) and hopefully see you again.
