We were travelling with our 4 year old daughter. The local tour operator did not contact us the previous night, I had to contact him around 10pm about plans. That’s when the Tour Guide Fred contacted us. We provided him all the documents he asked for. So the tour started off next morning. Fred told us he will be there for Drop Off when we return from Macau at the Ferry Terminal. We waited at the Point and Fred never showed up! We called - no response. We messaged - no response! We called the tour operator - he said there is no drop off! We sent a photo of the inclusions and they said take a cab back and we will pay your bill! How unprofessional is that! We got in touch with Viator customer care and have raised the issue. We wasted our evening trying to figure how to go back from the Ferry terminal with our daughter in tow after a long tiring day. Don’t take this tour.

We had a small group. I went to the meeting point myself, easy to find. Fredrick bought our tickets, gave us all the information we needed to know to get to Macau and helped us to get through customs in Hong Kong. We were unfortunate, but we had our trip at a day of a T3 Typhoon warning. So it was a fast, but bumpy ride to Macau. Costums in Macau were also easy, and we were picked up by Patrick our guide/uncle for the day. He took us through Macau, by minivan, but also walking. We did a lot of the sights in Macau. Always enough time to enjoy everything. I was a great tour. Seen a lot that day. All of the famous sites of Macau. Lunch was at a nice restaurant. Food was lovely. Patrick took us back to the ferryterminal and showed us the way to the customs. Again a bumpy ride back to Hong Kong. Here mr Fredrick was allready waiting for us.

Patrick was very good but the trip was spoilt by the buffet that had gone cold by the time we got there and a mini bus that reeked of cigarette smoke ( probably from the driver when we weren’t on the bus). Macau has Limited things to see but still worth a visit.

It’s a great tour, Patrick our guy in Macau was excellent he explained everything and took us to all the places. It was great to have the guide around all the time. Our in Hong Kong was great too even though it was a rainy day he took care of us very well. guide I wish the tour could be overnight so we can see Macau night explendor.

Two guides and two drivers work together to coordinate the entry to Macau and the re- entry back to Hong Kong. We were picked up at our MongKok hotel as communicated. Mr.Sung was adamant about not losing our return tickets to HK, how a couple should present tickets together in order to be seated together on the ferry. Both Patrick (Macau) and Frederick (HK) were clear about meeting times and places. They were vigilant to head count before departing a locale. Some of the Macau sites are very crowded-Church at St.Paulo, Venetian hotel. Our favorite part was finding the Venchi chocolate shop in the Venetian hotel. We aren’t gamblers and aren’t much into apparel - but we love delicious chocolate. We appreciated the care taken by both guides and drivers to ensure our safety and comfort.

It would be difficult to see and understand Macau if your time was limited. This day trip from Hongkong was perfect. Frederick made sure we safely embarked from Hongkong and Patrick met us and guided us for an informative and entertaining tour of the old and new of Macau.
