What makes this activity truly unique is you and the people behind it.
The idea for this experience actually came from one of my guests. One day, they wanted to see how Balinese jewelry is made, so I took them to my family’s workshop. I explained the process, our home concept, and Balinese culture — and they loved it. They suggested I create an activity where travelers could not only make their own jewelry but also learn about our traditions and way of life. And that’s how this experience was born.
We are a skilled, friendly, and passionate team of local silversmiths with more than 15 years of experience. As Balinese natives who speak English fluently, we’re proud to share not just our craft, but also stories about our culture, history, and traditional house philosophy.
Another special thing about us — some of our team members are also professional tour guides, ready to help you explore even more of Bali. We can’t wait to welcome you and share our world with you soon!

In the peaceful village of Delodsema, silver isn’t just art — it’s a way of life. Around 70% of the men here are silversmiths, and this craft sustains most of the local economy. Growing up in a silversmith family inspired me to share our heritage through this activity, allowing you to experience the joy of creating your own jewelry with the help of local artisans. Every teacher in our workshop is a local silversmith, and part of your contribution goes directly back to support the community. Your journey begins with a hotel pickup to our village workshop. We’ll welcome you with Balinese coffee or tea and local snacks as we introduce you to the Balinese lifestyle and traditions. You’ll see sample jewelry and can share your own design ideas. Then, with our guidance, you’ll craft your piece from start to finish — melting, shaping, and polishing silver into something truly personal. By the end, you’ll take home not just jewelry, but a piece of Bali’s soul.

My husband and I chose to do the silver making class & coffee plantation/rice terraces tour. Olen picked us up at our hotel and brought us around in his car. Olen was wonderful & super knowledgeable. He explained to us the process with the rice terraces, making rings, and also any questions we had about Bali! The silver making class was so cool! We loved the idea of making something and using it in style; so making rings was on our list of things to do. The people helping us were so helpful and kind, showing us specifically on what to fix on our rings, helping us shape, file, and clean our rings. This tour was so great, we highly recommend adding this tour on your list!

A really wonderful way to spend a few hours in the company of an experienced silversmith assisting you to make your own piece of jewellery. The hospitality was excellent and we love our rings. Than you.

During the experience we were able to make three silver rings. The two guys were very nice and prepared, they followed us through all the stages of the realization and even offered us a coffee. The experience lasted only two hours because we were alone, too bad because it is an experience worth having.

I combined the silver jewellery making class with a farm cooking class and the best day out while in Ubud. My day started with a tour around the local food market before going to the cooking class where I meet up with the rest of the group. We were shown around the farm and were asked to pick some produce to use in our cooking. We made 2 entrees, 3 main courses and one dessert. With the vegans and vegetarians making different dishes. After lunch my driver took me to the silver making class. I had already decided I wanted to make a pair of earrings but still had enough silver to make a ring as well. I throughly enjoyed the process of making these pieces and will have something special that I made to remember my trip.

It’s a bit out of town- but worth the ride! A wonderful morning with Wawam! I learned a lot - in a very wary going process! And a great ring to help remember my trip to Bali- & Ubud!
