What To Expect
Schloss Neuschwanstein
Enjoy an unforgettable visit to the iconic Neuschwanstein Castle, the inspiration for Disney's fairy-tale castle. (With Skip the Line service, you don’t have to worry about waiting for hours to get tickets, or tours are sold out when you arrive). Your private guide can pick you up directly from your hotel in Füssen or meet you directly in Hohenschwangau, for a convenient start to the tour. First, we take the shuttle to (Marienbrücke) for some amazing pictures. # Please note: During the winter months, the bridge is closed for safety reasons due to snow. Then we walk to Neuschwanstein (the fairy-tale castle) with a tour inside. You will learn more about the Swan King (Ludwig II) king of Bavaria (1864-1886). And the history of Neuschwanstein Castle (built 1869-1886). (The castle entry is conducted as a group tour, in line with the castle's policy). Afterward, from the castle’s foot, we take a horse carriage to Hohenschwangau village. Then back to your hotel or the starting point.

5.00Amir was super friendly, and made the visit fun and special. Nice to have someone who knows about the history of the castle and of Ludwig II. He made it fun, funny, and engaging. For us, the price included the parking, the ticket to the castle, the bus ride up, and a horse-drawn carriage down.

5.00Amir was simply the finest guide we have ever utilized. He communicated from the start of the online booking throughout the planning process until he met us at our precoordinated location in Fussen. He has a great personality and love of the local history. He engaged our grandchildren very well during the tour. The tour was effortless, from the bus ride up to Mary's Bridge, to the walk down to the castle, to his expedited entry for us onto the formal interior castle tour, to afterwards his arrangement of our horse-drawn carriage down the hill. His knowledge and engaging presentation was admirable. He is obviously well connected to the various vendors at the site has Hhe seemlessly expedited every facet of our visit. For anyone who wants a stress free visit, Amir is the one I would most highly recommend. We hope to hire him for a future visit with other family members on our trip.

5.00This was a magical experience from start to finish. Our tour guide Paul, was wonderful. He was not only informative but also funny and helpful and we felt very looked after. We got some great family photos as well and Paul knew all the best angles to capture those photos with the impressive scenery and castles in the background. Neuschwanstein Castle itself was breathtaking! A must-do on any visit to Bavaria, Germany.
