This is the most complete small group tour for up 8 people and we visit the interior of monuments that others don't see, and all tickets are included.
Arriving in Braga, we will start by visiting the Bom Jesus Sanctuary and contemplating its magnificent staircase to the top of the church.
After a top view of the city, time to visit the oldest cathedral in the country where we will have exclusive access to the chapels and high choir of the monument.
A delicious traditional Portuguese lunch will be served in a restaurant where you can taste the so famous "Vinho Verde".
During the afternoon we visit Guimarães when we have time for a calm walk on foot through the medieval city where we will enter in his Castle that was known for the birth of a new kingdom: Portugal.
Then we will visit the Palace of the Dukes where we are dazzled by the luxuries of royalty from other times. A whole history of Portugal will be told by our local guides who have always followed the group.

5.00Really nice trip to the northern part of Portugal, very comfortable in terms of transportation. We saw a lot of diverse things, and the lunch was great! Everything was arranged, which made it very stress free. Our guide Sergio was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

5.00This tour was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed our guide, Sergio. He was full of useful historical and cultural information. It was so great to travel at a less popular time so that the two cities were not crowded, and my tour had only four people. We were done by around 4pm and I wish it had lasted longer!

The tour ended up being my mom and I because it was off season, but they shared a lot of history, fun facts, and recommendations as they guided us through the day. Pro tip: Braga has 250-ish steps so wear good shoes. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great and informative time. Final recommendation: make sure to confirm with the company directly if your pickup/drop off location is within the “zone”
