Sophia was an excellent guide and she gave us a lot of historical context and fascinating local information. I would go on any tour with her as our guide, but her personal connection to the DMZ gave it an edge on some of the other groups we saw there. Be prepared to walk, there are a lot of hills!

We went on a DMZ tour with Sunny Seoul Korea, guided by Sophia. Sophia e was incredibly sweet and hardworking! It was truly a pleasure to be on the tour with her. She always kept the big picture in mind, made sure we had everything we needed, and answered all our questions clearly and loudly. She also gave us great recommendations for other places to visit in Seoul. I can definitely recommend taking a tour with Sophia — she was absolutely lovely. Unfortunately, the weather was bad that day, so we didn’t get to visit the “Red Suspension Bridge.” However, we received a refund for that part of the tour, which we really appreciated. It was very fair of them not to take us there in the rain and give us a poor experience.

The communication pre trip was excellent, puck up location and times very clear. Our guide Sophia contacted us personally to share information and was accessible for questions. The van was warm and comfortable, perfect small group size. We had a great day and enjoyed all the sights, however definitely highlight at the observatory and cafe overlooking north Korea. Sophia was kind, knowledgeable and personable. Would recommend to anyone. Small group os definitely the way to go.

Lovely trip with Jung! Nice host, good itinerary and comfortable minivan! Saw all the things you'd want to see, on a great day to visit. Also very interesting to talk to the woman who fled North Korea. :)
