Full day visiting Soweto, including Aparteid Museum, Nelson Mandela's house, Desmond Tutu and then went on to Constitution Hill. We really enjoyed Constitution Hill, learned loads & was so interesting. We got a long time in Aparteid Museum but we struggled with the route through the exhibitions & was a bit long for us. However others may want all that time. But we enjoyed seeing Sowetto and the township and where Nelson & Desmond lived. Overall a great day

It was a good introductory lesson on the history of apartheid in South Africa! From the very first stop - Constitution Hill where we saw how non blacks were treated till 1985 to Mandela House in Soweto and ending at the apartheid museum- it was excellent. I wish we could have spent more time at the museum - a wonderful museum about not just apartheid but the different people who stood up for the rights of all people. Very well portrayed. Soweto was not what I expected! The Hector Peterson memorial was also very good! All the stops were good and our guide/ driver Thusde was good.

General overview of Soweto and Johannesburg. Guide was nice but gave only basic information. Had to wait about 30 minutes while he took half day people back to hotel. Just drive around Joburg with a stop at Constitution Hill.
