Our experience invites participants to create glass suncatcher ornaments they can take home that day! Bring your spirit of play to the magic and care of our studio and the experience that awaits you. You'll get to choose a design to create, select from dozens of types of art glass, then learn how to break, shape, and utilize century-old techniques developed by Tiffany and others to bind the glass pieces together into a finished suncatcher ornament. (And yes, you can take it on a plane.) Appropriate for ages 12 and up Absolute novices welcome! One-time 2-hour-long workshop. Please plan to wear closed-toed shoes, bring your readers (if you need them), and be prepared to stand on padded flooring for the duration of the workshop. **Please note: we schedule our instructors based on participant sign-ups and availability. Loved learning how to cut, grind, and solder it all together. Scout was the best morale booster. Shoutout to the assistant guy, he was a great help!

So much fun! We expected to see a lot of beautiful art in Santa Fe but hadn't planned on making art of our own. J.T. was our instructor--he was very friendly, helpful, informative, and relaxed. I highly recommend this experience if you want to step outside the norm of the typical Santa Fe experience. No special creativity or art background is needed. Just plan to have fun and take home both a beautiful object and a beautiful memory!

Theresa was a great instructor. She explained each step and made it an easy process for someone who has never done stained glass. I am ready to tackle other projects. She was kind and very helpful. I recommend taking this very fun class!
