The tour covered art, history, and literature across the city. We were lucky to have a private guide who was native to Stockholm, well travelled, and held professorship in the local University in art history and literature. She exposed us to the subway art of the city, major historical sites, and then an hour guided tour in the National Museum. Charlotte was fluent in English and lots of fun as a person and guide. She geared the tour to our personal interests, and paced the tour well. One of the best guides we’ve had.

What a fun and memorable tour. Fayez is a wonderful tour guide and host. We visited what I call Graffiti city where the local artist produce their street art. Very beautiful works located throughout this area. We also visited Gustaf Vasa Church. One of the most beautiful churches I've ever seen. The time spent with Fayez was very informative and entertaining.

We explored and discussed the art of the Stockholm Subway system and got tips on viewing art throughout Stockholm. The art is very reflective of Swedish culture and politics, so the discussions were rich.

Funny: the photos of the subway galleries look great; then you go... and you find it... filthy... and yet when you see the photos... it's great again... SOMETHING'S WRONG WITH THE STOCKHOLM SUBWAY.

The contrast between speed and technology with an art-packed cave aesthetic is incredible. It's definitely worth being underground for a few hours.
