Monterey Bay is one of the greatest places in the world to find whales and with the added bonus of a sunset viewing in the summer/fall months, you can't go wrong! Each tour is narrated by a Naturalist/Marine Biologist onboard who can find the wildlife, tell you fascinating facts about the animals, and answer all of your questions! Our boats are smaller in order to provide a more intimate and personal experience for all of our guests.

What To Expect
CHECK-IN 30-45 MINUTES BEFORE DEPARTURE Parking Address: 101 Washington Street, Monterey, CA 93940 (must pay for parking before leaving your vehicle at the pay stations or the ParkMobile App) From the parking lot, walk to 66 Fishermans Wharf. We are the BLUE building called Discovery Whale Watch. Join us for an evening tour exploring the Monterey Bay as we search for incredible marine life! Our primary focus is on whales, but other possibilities include: dolphin, sea lions, sea otters, and sea birds. Conclude the tour with an amazing view of the sunset over the water. Beer & wine are available onboard for purchase.

5.00The crew was pleasant, informative and helpful. Safety was first and foremost with an intention to find sightings second. Once we saw whales, they intentionally stayed in the area and we saw lots of activity -blows, breaches, dives and jumping. It was so exciting. Isaiah was a rock star!!

5.00Follow your tour guide at boat. Keep some sweater or jacket to keep you warm it gets cold sometime splash during adventure. Fully charge your cell. My kids was 3.5 year and 9.5 year old enjoyed it fully exited watching whales. During July-Oct ocean is not so crazy as our guide suggested otherwise sea sick is a thing to consider.

5.00This is the tour to book if you want to actually see whales up close and get a full lesson. The best experience! The captain was so informative, kind, and awesome! He made sure to fill us in with info and fun facts about every animal and thing we saw out at sea. We saw SEVERAL whales; some really close. The captain carefully followed the whales so we could get the best views and ensured our safety the entire trip. I felt comfortable, safe, and has so much fun. An unforgettable experience.
