  Everything was great. The communication with the driver, Fernando, regarding our pickup spot was timely and easy to follow. Hotel pickup is only available if the street your hotel is on is wide enough for the van, so we had a 3-minute walk to the pickup spot. The van was full, so we sat in the front seat with Fernando. It was a bit cramped for my wife in the middle seat, but the great view of the scenery made up for it. Fernando apologized several times for the lack of room, and did his best to make as much room for her as possible. In Tangier, our guide Aziz was the best. He told us so himself, and by the end of the tour I believed he was right. Part of the tour included a spice market which made me sneeze, so Aziz took my wife and me on a private 10-minute tour while the others shopped. The ferry ride both directions was smooth and easy. Fernando was waiting with the van when we arrived, and he gave us a mini Spanish language lesson on the way home which was much needed and appreciated.

  Our guide was confused about the time change and thus did not show up. We got a substitute guide Aziz 1 who did a great job. Driver Joan was excellent and very helpful. Only other thing I would have liked to have done is go to a large bazaar to buy bulk spices.

  Wonderful driver and guide in Tangier. Our driver Daniel Fernando was professional and safely drove from Seville to Tarifa and then back. Our guide and driver in Tangier stayed with us the entire trip to ensure we had the customized experience we wanted. All in all excellent.

  The tour was fantastic. Daniel Fernando, our driver, was punctual, friendly and very professional. He accompanied us to the port and drove us promptly and safely back. The tour in Tangier was great. Aziz our guide was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We had plenty of to time to walk through the Kasbah and Medina neighborhoods, pointing out great historical sites and traditions. We also drove around to see the city and the great views of the beach. Would definitively recommend it.

  Our day trip from Seville to Tangier was perfection! Even though we began the day with a major traffic delay and did not make our original ferry departure for tangier, our driver Fernando was able to communicate with the tour company get us on the very next one, and the company communicated with our tour guide in Tangier (who was FABULOUS)… and everything still worked out perfect, with us just returning an hour later than originally scheduled. The whole day was beautiful and our guide in Tangier asked us what was most important to us to see (which was architecture, history and the sea) and made sure to point out all the prettiest places to us. Camel rides were also really cool! Would recommend this tour for sure, and thank you to Fernando for getting us to and from Seville for this amazing day trip!

  Our tour guide and driver in Tanger's were absolutely wonderful, but the person who organized the trip, Masha from NOT JUST A TOURIST, was not. Before we even left, Masha repeatedly contacted us asking for additional money to cover the ferry, camel ride, and lunch. We later realized all of these could have been easily arranged directly through the tour guide in Tangiers. Then, the day before our departure, Masha contacted us again to tell us we needed to pay more in order to make our scheduled ferry. That turned out to be false. Our driver, Fernando, dropped us off late at the ferry terminal, and we missed our boat. We ended up buying new tickets through another provider to catch the next ferry. We expect a refund for the original tickets we purchased. On the return, our guide in Tangier went above and beyond making sure our tickets were correct and walking us to the terminal. But once we arrived back in Spain at 10 p.m., there was no driver waiting. We called and texted Masha multiple times, but she never answered. Even our guide in Tangier tried to reach her, also without success. We were stranded 2.5 hours away from our hotel in Seville, late at night in cold, windy weather. Eventually, Fernando answered his phone, but instead of meeting us at the terminal, he was parked on a random street outside, with no way for us to know where to find him. To make matters worse, my phone had died. Thankfully, my husband had spoken with Masha earlier that day and was able to reach out again, though she still did not respond until the following day. When she finally did contact me on WhatsApp, she claimed she avoided messaging because it “wasn’t private.” The entire experience left us feeling abandoned and frustrated. While our guides and driver were excellent, Masha’s handling of the tour was unprofessional, dishonest, and unacceptable. I fully intend to share this experience online. For reference, the company is Not Just a Tourist.

  This was an amazing tour! We had two guides on this tour. Our driver Fernando was so kind and helpful. He picked us up as close to the hotel as he could since we were in a no traffic zone. Then drove us safely to the port. He then walked us into the ferry port and made sure the counter had our ferry tickets before saying goodbye. In Tangier we were met by Ashran. He was an amazing tour guide. He Took us to see Tangier as only a local can. We were driven around in a nice car to all the different parts of the city. Once back to the port in Tarifa Fernando was waiting for us to drive us home. He actually went out of his way to find us a great view point of the Rock of Gibraltar to be able to take pictures. He was the nicest guy. We really appreciated all his efforts to make our day great.

  This tour is expensive but for a few good reasons. You have a private bus driver request Mr. Fernandez Bautista - he's brilliant) to get you to the ferry and to pick you up. You then have a private tour guide when you arrive to Tangier, and then a private ride around Tangier. My wife and I were nervous about the trip to Morocco as a whole because of all the reviews we read and our experience was very positive as first time visitors. We will return to Morocco and use Not Just a Tourist's company again. You get to see all the major parts of Tangier with an absolute expert. We rode the camels, saw the caves, and saw different parts of Morocco than what we expected. Our tour guide Abderrahmane Alami Taidi (Alami) made our trip into town feel better - he was able to introduce us to the top coffee shops, foods, and places for shopping while discussing the history of the place. He also made us feel more comfortable with going in and out of shops. Overall, the attention to details and layout of the day is exceptional, and worth the money especially if you are a first time visitor.
