1. Our tour guides use the architecture of the buildings to tell the story of Miami Beach and its people.

What To Expect
The Official Art Deco Gift Shop
Founded in 1976, The Miami Design Preservation League has proudly offered guided walking tours of The Art Deco District for over 40 years. All Proceeds go towards supporting preservation. Visitors are introduced to the history, architecture, and preservation efforts of Miami Beach. Tour ticket includes free admission to the Art Deco Museum and Gift Shop. There are a limited amount of tickets available for each tour, so early bookings are encouraged . Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure for check-in.

5.00Our group of six took the art tech out walking tour today. We thoroughly enjoyed it, even though we were in the rain. Our guide, Franzi, was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic in good humor, despite the weather. Her wealth of information gave us the motivation to learn as much as we could. I highly recommend this very professional tour.

4.00Our tour guide was great (I wish I remembered her name :( womp womp), she was funny, knowledgable and told us a lot about the buildings/history/movies etc. The issue was with the sound. The receivers and headphones weren't great, and they didn't tune the 2 tours that went at the same time to different frequencies. Every time we ended up in the wrong place, our tour and the other tour would tune in and out.

5.00One of the best tours ever taken! Worth every penny. Julie was the tour guide and she was WONDERFUL...enthusiastic, knew so much, and was able to communicate her knowledge in such a way that the participants were engaged the entire time, despite the fact that it was raining. So glad she had visuals to share too. You can tell she loves what she does. The Preservation League has a gem in Julie!
