We had a wonderful morning with Joy touring the old town of Thessaloniki. We started at the tower at the wall, and she described to us the history of the Thessaloniki and as we made our way around the upper city, she told us more of the history. We stopped at a few monasteries and historical sites, especially the monastery where Saint Paul preached. She was very informative, helpful and kind. We highly recommend this tour.

It was a very pleasant walk around the old town with lots of places you might not find on your own. Great views of the city and give us an insight to the history of Thessaloniki
Or guide told us about the trees and plants and Greek mythology. Sure loves to find connections cross cultural.

We had a very nice couple of hours with our guide. She was knowledgeable and told entertaining stories. We walked down many streets and saw beautiful churches and sights.

Hara was so wonderful and helpful to your with, shared so much interesting information about everything from food to history to politics and of course a lot about nature and herbs, we can’t wait to do it again!!!

This was such a lovely tour away from the hustle and bustle of the lower town. Hara is a charming, friendly, informative guide. Very interesting to learn about the various health benefits from the flora and fauna in the upper part of the city, as well as the philosophy. I thoroughly recommend this tour as something different in a beautiful part of town. Thank you Hara and thank you for the delicious herbal tea!

Thoroughy enjoyed this walk with Hara. The three hours passed very quickly with lots of shady stopping points and detours into Charming Byzantine Churches. Hara had made us a refreshing herbal drink which we had half way round .Hara knew a lot about plants and herbs and their medicinal properties and the mythical stories behind them. We had very interesting chats with her. One of highlights was observing two amorous turtles! A different tour to the usual history ones and all the more enjoyable for it.
A unique and interesting tour! 5 star.

We had the most exceptional tour with Hara, filled with interesting facts and anecdotes about the culture! Particularly good if you're interested in herbs and plants, be it for cooking or health. We learnt a lot about all the different plants and what they do. It added an interesting twist to the tour! Something different and very informative. Highly recommend.

We had a great time with the lovely Hara, learning about the upper city and ancient & current uses of trees and herbs. We had a home-brewed tea for refreshment. The light drizzle did not bother us, and the grayish sky made the colors of the upper city houses pop out. This is a different kind of city guided tour, for those who seek something extra, other than plain history. Very recommended!
