Our driver Bill (Vasilis) got us safely and efficiently between Thessaloniki, Philippi and Kavala. He took us to a great seafood restaurant in Kavala and helped us find a pharmacy! We enjoyed the relaxed pace as we self guided through the sites. Entrance fees are reasonable.

Demitiris is very good and courteous. Shares a lot of history during the trip. Very knowledgeable. Likes basketbal which makes us click even more. But overall, he drove safely, on time and was always asking how we are and what we want to do. Very considerate. I would recommend him anytime for other visitors. The places where we went were truly what we are looking for, historical, biblical and inspiring.

It’s a good opportunity to see some of the significant sites outside of Thessaloniki. It’s not a guided tour - but also not advertised as one. We enjoyed it.

Great day trip covering a few sites in Greece. Continued to learn about Apostle Paul journey in this country. If you love learning about the past then this is a trip for you. The stop at Kavala is magnificent. Water is so refreshing and clear! Had to dip my toes even though temps were chilly. Vasilis was my tour guide and did a great job giving me the history behind each stop. Also did a great job in keeping me to the schedule so I didn’t miss out on anything. Highly recommend this trip and tour group.

Spent a second day touring with Bill who took 7 of us on the historical tour. It was better than expected and not to be missed if you are in this area. He was responsive to our requests and finalized the tour at a great small, local restaurant. Highly recommend Bill and the company. Great communication and service.

This is a great way to see Phillipi and Kavala. Much quicker than a coach trip and the driver was flexible with timings to meet our requirements. The only minor criticism is the driver should have known a bit more about the history of the Kavala castle as he was born there. However this is not sold as a guided tour and we had read up on the sites before we went. Being unaccompanied in the sites suits us as we can go at our own pace not herded round like a pack of sheep. If you can afford the extra price a great way to have a good day out

If you want to visit Phillipi and Kavala without the hassle of being in a large group this is definitely the way to do it. The driver was flexible with timings to suit our wishes. Going to Lydia's baptistry was much better that spending time on the beach I Kavala. If you like independent travel this is worth considering despite the extra cost
