I will definitely recommend this tour to my friends. I've been to several other Mayan ruins and Oxkintok is among my favorite. It is older and so the structures are not as large and impressive as Chichén or Uxmal, but the history from our guide was really interesting, and the grounds are like a park with many trees, and our tour group practically had the place to ourselves. If you enjoy Mayan ruins, I believe Oxkintok to be a real hidden gem. The Hacienda Tour was really interesting. I really appreciated that much of the hacienda has not been renovated so you can really get a sense of the history of the place. The two cenotes were also amazing - especially the second 'blue cenote'. Very otherworldly with incredible stalactites. You can get a sense of why the cenotes were considered sacred by the ancient Mayas. The guide for the Hacienda and Cenotes was excellent. This is the third tour I have done with Viajes Colibrí and they have all been excellent. The tour bus was very comfortable and our guide, Pedro was excellent.

Comfortable transport van with very nice guide and driver. Pedro went out of his way to ensure he translated everything to us (The only English speakers on the tour). Victor has nerves of steel behind the wheel. The village ruins are awe inspiring (BRING BUG SPRAY). The hacienda and Cenotes also. Hacienda food is very good. The Cenotes and hacienda tour are incredible. Luis was an excellent tour guide and sisal demonstrator. Highly recommend this tour and found it to be an excellent value. Please remember the driver, guide and tour guides all work for your tips.

The experience was great! Mucuyche’s beautiful cenotes was my favorite part of the trip. Be aware that this trip is with about 15 other people so it’s less intimate and the van ride can be a bit uncomfortable and crammed. Be prepared to take bug spray and sunscreen!

You must take this tour. The Hacienda and its underground river are just amazingly beautiful. You will not regret it. The cenotes, underground river and caves are out of this world. I highly recommend this tour. The tour guide is really nice, the tour company is well organized and the transportation is comfortable and clean.

The tour of the ruins was very nice. We had wonderful cloudy weather with a breeze which made it quite enjoyable. I couldn’t imagine doing it in the beaming sun. The tour went up and down some very large steps, it was ok for us because we are young but elders should be ready and wear comfortable shoes. What we were not ready for was the additional 1 hour drive from the ruins to the cenotes. The details said that this tour has a chance to have lunch but it is schedule for around 3pm and the last thing you do on the tour. Definitely buy the snacks at the convenience store stop. Bring lots of water, do not forget towels, they were only there for purchase for 500 pesos. The hacienda staff were wonderful, the tour was great, the cenotes are beautiful. Not long enough in the first cenote and very brief time in the canal. If we did it again we would taxi right to the cenotes. The hacienda home tour was very interesting and short, nice for kids.
