Excellent tour led by our excellent guide Eric! Van was clean, cool, and on-time. Uxmal tour was amazing with an experienced guide. Local lunch was amazing, cooked by locals. Both cenotes were refreshing and a great experience!

The cenotes are worth the trip by themselves. Food was great! Uxmal is impressive, but the cenotes are more beautiful...

I booked a private tour of Uxmal and two cenotes with an included lunch for myself and 2 friends. We had the immense pleasure of spending a full day with our very personable and punctual guide, Rodrigo. We had an early start time and Rodrigo picked us up at our hotel in Merida right on time. The early start allowed us to (almost) have Uxmal all to ourselves. It was an unrushed, uncrowded experience that provided us the opportunity to wander this impressive place at our own pace, taking in all the amazing architectural details and majestic vistas. Next, we went for lunch at a truly local restaurant. We were the only tourists in the place and we were warmly welcomed and very well fed. After lunch, we drove for what seemed like forever on a dirt road and were rewarded with the most beautiful blue cenote I have ever seen. And, other than a group of scuba-diving researchers exploring the underground cave that supplies water to the cenote, we were the only people there for the majority of our visit. So, if you want to have an amazing experience, spend the day with a wonderful, warm human being, and avoid the touristy crowds, I would not hesitate to recommend Rodrigo.

Amazing day and guide. Uxmal exceeded all expectations and we arrived at a good time to see it with less people. Seeing 2 types of cenotes was cool to compare too. Everything was on schedule and comfortable. It helps to bring water shoes to change into at the cenotes where there is showering and some walking required between parking lots and cenotes. Our favorite day of our trip by far!

Amazing. Eric was a great guide, the food was great, and we got to experience Uxmal before the crowds showed up later in the day. The cenotes were also less touristy.

Experienced in a small group Uxmal and two not very touristy cenotes. We learned a lot about Mayan culture. Our guide Eric as well as the guide in Uxmal were extremely nice and informative. I would also like to highlight lunch! In a very personal little restaurant was cooked especially for us, so far the best food I ate in Mexico in a wonderful atmosphere!

Well organized tour. Sergio, our tour guide was highly organized and explained everything clearly and simply in both Spanish and English. He was punctual and asked us to be as well which made things run smoothly. Our Uxmal tour guide Jesus was very good and extremely knowledgeable about the site and the Mayan world. He made our experience very rewarding. The lunch was great featuring Yucatecan fare and the 2 Cenotes we visited were magical in every way. The importance of the natural world is foremost which is so positive. I would recommend this tour company hands down.

I booked this tour as a solo traveler and found it to be the perfect fit for my purposes. Our tour guide was Sergio. From the minute we met him until the drop off at the end, he provided us with a lot of information on history, culture, and points of interest. Sergio's love for the culture and history of the area truly came through in his explanations of quite literally everything around us. I have experienced many excursions in Mexico and various other countries and this one was one of my favorites. Uxmal is a much more quite and intimate experience of Mayan ruins. You can feel the souls swirling around you as you picture what life may have been like there. The cenotes on our tour were two very different examples of cenotes. Both had the most beautiful clear, blue water I have ever seen in a cenote. They were excellent choices by the tour company. The lunch provided was probably one of my favorite things I ate while I was in Merida. If you are considering this tour, just go ahead and book it. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Merida Experiences and Sergio for such a wonderful day!
