Tumpak Sewu waterfalls are also called the Indonesian Niagara waterfalls.... Check for yourself! Depending on the season, the water flow is more or less. The height is about 120 m.
Combined with unforgettable moments in the Bromo area this 2 days tour is unique. The active volcano Bromo lies in an ancient caldera of 10 km in width. The caldera is partly a black volcanic Sand Sea and partly a lush savanna. The viewpoint Pananjakan shows the greatness of Earth.

Waterfall is the must to visit! Bring water shoes or rent them at the gate! Bring cash for toilet and tip your guide! Our tour guide was very professional in taking great photos!

The waterfall day was great. I would recommend taking a car there and spending the day. There are places you can swim at the waterfall, but this tour doesn't recommend swimming shorts, or provide sufficient time to take a dip. It is fairly strenuous, the downhill descent and uphill climb proved difficult for a lot of people. Onto the day 2, mt bromo. The bit I was looking forward to the most, but unfortunately was not what I expected. A 1:30am wake-up, to drive 15 minutes by car, and then wait around for an hour and a half for a jeep to arrive. There was so so so many jeeps, and people, it was madness. Id estimate a good 400 jeeps, all heading in the same direction, all trying to overtake, undertake and beep at each other through narrow roads. When you arrive at the viewpoint at 3:30am, you then are kicked out wherever they decide to abandon the jeep, and left to your own devices for 2 hours. The viewpoint was massively over-crowded. Shoulder to shoulder with a good thousand+ tourists (mainly Chinese), all with their phones in your face. Lastly, the viewpoint is super cold. There are lots of people at the viewpoint renting coats, hats and scarfs etc. What would have been better is for the tour booking to advise 'bring warm clothing, as it gets cold'. Just feels like another way for them to make money.

Wildan is really a great guide. He patiently leads us to visit waterfall and volcano. The most important thing is that his photography skills is excellent! It has left us a lot of good memories in Indonesia. This journey is very wonderful!

We had an amazing tour and loved visiting Mt. Bromo and Tumek Suwa - our guide was punctual, organized, and friendly. We’d 1000% recommend this tour to anyone looking to visit East Java.
