Better than the Surabaya tour. Need to find a new lunch spot. Restaurant was overwhelmed. Guide was excellent.

This was a good tour for a quick glimpse of what Probolinggo has to offer. Time didn’t allow much time at any of the places. Moon, our guide, gave good information and tried to teach us how to make a palm frond sword. A highlight was being able to have a go at creating some batik. The biggest disappointment was lunch - it was terrible and I wouldn’t recommend that the tour company uses that restaurant again.

The guide and driver were ok, but lunch was terrible, it took to long waiting in the restaurant, nog choice, we would have liked nasi, not oxtailsoup!. The toilets in the restaurants were dirty.

Our guide was very pleasant and his English was good. It was a well run tour. There were eight of us and he was able to keep us together in some very busy places and still answer all our questions.

The best part was the hands-on batiking. Cita shared knowledge of Probolingo history. The second best IMHO was the Cinese temple for the 3 biggest religions/philosophy.

the whole day was very interesting, We see so much things. The best was to see the real life in Probolinggo. The bustling market with so different things. The lunch was vetry good.- For me as a vegetarian extra meal. Our guide give us much informations. The best thing was the batik lesson with self doing this. We saw all the things we booked. On time and reliable we were picked up.

Our guide was very good and helpful. There just isn’t that much to see which isn’t his fault. At the restaurant, I had the chicken satay which was good and came to the table in a reasonable amount of time. But my husband and sister-in-law ordered the grilled chicken which didn’t come until after I have finished eating my lunch. Everyone at our party had the same situation. The chicken satay came out right away and the people who ordered the grilled chicken had to wait 20 minutes or more. That’s not really very nice.
